“Host double-booked us and canceled our reservation 45 minutes prior to our departure for Dallas. Despite the fact that I booked accommodations 2 months in advance and had communicated with him by the app earlier in the week, he claimed not to notice the double-booking until the morning of, and left us scrambling to find other lodging (which I did, for an extra 120…an amount I might not have had to pay had I had actual advance warning that he couldn’t accommodate us). He was barely apologetic……
