Feel Welcome in Cividale
Our week's stay in Cividale started with a warm and friendly welcome from Beatrice.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable, clean and well-lit, with good bedside lighting. A bookcase full of tourist and local information was available to us in a variety of languages. The kitchen was well-equipped, although a kettle and teapot would have been useful. The private garden was pleasant to relax in at the end of a day's walking and sightseeing.
The apartment was just 10 minutes walk from the railway / bus station (we came by public transport). However, a car would be an advantage to visit locations with infrequent or no public transport.
There is a good supermarket about 3 minutes away.
It took about 15 minutes to walk into the town centre to bars, restaurants etc.
We can recommend the two restaurants that we used: Cervo d'Oro in Borgo San Pietro (also a pizzeria) and the Tre Colonne in Via A. Ristori, both good value.
