「An amazing get away while still being in Auckland. Rachel is a wonderful host, and the bach itself is cozy, comfortable and well worth the drive. It feels like you're a world away from civilization, but a 10-minute drive gets you into the local town. Close to walks and beaches, it is a great spot to do a whole lotta nothing. Easy instructions to get to the bach and for the house itself, and a nice set up so you can sit and watch the trees. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a...

「Location for Bruce Pulman Stadium was Great. Easy access in and out followed traffic flow. Very convenient for shops. Big problem with not enough cooking utensils had to buy a couple ie serving spoons, potato peeler, whisk..... And only 1 sml pot that had burnt remnants at the bottom which I cleaned after purchasing a scourer. 'Please" supply a "set" of pots. Extra warm blanket in each room. A large house like this should be fully equipped and will be complete once the couple of oversights are...

「A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful.」

Bathroom vent needs a clean .washer dryer- was a bit difficult to get clothes dry put thru dryer 4 hrs still wasn’t dry but the heated hanger was great ! 「Such an excellent place to spend a night away. It had everything we needed and despite only being a quick drive to the city, it felt like a different world. We loved lighting the fireplace and it also meant the house stayed cosy all night and into the following morning. The place was clean, comfortable and we loved the extra attention to details. Meeting the animals was an added bonus! Vaughan was a great host, excellent communication and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!」

「What a beautiful spot! We spent the night here for our anniversary and it was just magical. Looking out onto rolling hills and the bath on the balcony made romantic by the extra little touches of pretty lights candles and bubble bath provided by Vaughan. He also let us feed the baby calves and then we went down to the 2 cows to feed them. Prince the horse was out in the paddock so we didn’t get to say hello but Vaughan made our stay very welcoming.

"My room was well soundproofed even though it faced the motorway. The bed was comfortable and the receptionist was very friendly. The water dispenser in the lobby didn’t seem to offer hot water as it was cold each time I tried, but it was nice they offered the option to have a beverage in the entrance."
