「When we arrived we found out the pool was closed pending a Health department inspection. After talking with the manager it was because it wasn't clean enough and the health department gentleman couldn't see the drain. They had the cleaner in for a long time but the pool was still closed when we left. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was a waffle maker with thin runny batter that was awful. The orange juice was old. It is right next to a Flyin' J truckstop/scale that shared the road....

「The booking service lost one of my two reservations, even after confirming with them the day before. We finally did get a second room after being told there was only a room to accommodate one night. I don't understand the room rates. The double queen bed room was less than the single queen bed by about $50 for a two night stay. The double queen room I occupied: 1. The beds are too high especially for shorter people or folks who are chronologically challenged 2. We had no refrigerator but we did...

「My room had all the important requirements, clean sheets, bathroom, and floors. Shower had hot water and great water pressure. The owner was kind enough to allow me keep my flowers outside on the sidewalk in front of my room. Nice and friendly old style motor lodge that were so prominent in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. 」
