This home is a renovated century home with 3 units situated on a quiet, residential street but just a 5 minute walk to some of Ohio City's most popular landmarks and staples.

Both bedrooms have quality linens that are professionally laundered. All rooms have ample closet space for short and long stays alike!

Bathroom is stocked with toiletries available for use during your stay

living room is a wonderful place to gather as a group and relax! Our TV is equipped with a number of streaming services so you can log in using your credentials

The Kitchen is equipped with all the basic cooking and eating utensils. We also have a coffee station with coffee grounds, sugar and cream. The kitchen has direct access to our private backyard which has a charcoal grill, fire pit, and plenty of outdoor furniture to both dine and relax!

We ensure that the home is as kid friendly as possible. A pack-n-play is available upon request and we keep some toys and games for little ones stocked just in case! We are steps away from a recently updated city park which is perfect for young children!

Ohio City is the vibrant neighborhood of Cleveland which blends the old with the new. Ohio City itself was originally incorporated in the early 1800’s as a rival to the City of Cleveland across the Cuyahoga River. Merchants and residents set up the Ohio City neighborhood on the bluffs of the river and close to the lake to take advantage of this bustling commercial spot. Today the neighborhood is a thriving and charming mix of past and present. You are just a stroll away from the Westside Market and a whole host of restaurants and shops radiating around that stately city landmark."

Guests have access to all areas of the home. There are two other units in the House but neither should interfere with your space. The entry door is under the front porch, and it's the door to the right.

We give guests the privacy they need. If you need anything, we are a text or phone call away.

There is an old world charm about Ohio City - a strong-knit community where you'll find people taking a walk with their small kids or their dogs, out for a run, grabbing coffee at the great local coffee shops (a 5 minute walk away!) and enjoying the local restaurants. You'll be in the heart of Ohio City's top restaurants, breweries and bars. The West Side Market is a 7 minute walk away and within a 3 minute drive you'll hit Tremont's restaurant and bar lined streets, and downtown Cleveland's best and Stadium! The Cleveland Clinic is a 10 minute drive away as well.

The home is located 2 minutes off the highway and a few minutes from downtown Cleveland. We are surrounded by restaurants and cafes all within a couple minutes walk and only a 10 minute walk to the famous West 25th Street filled with restaurants, ice cream parlor, the West Side Market, as well as a large grocery store, Dave’s. Driving times to the Stadium or other venues downtown is 5 minutes - the Cleveland Clinic is 10 minutes away. Uber and Lyft are always available day and night around Ohio City and only a couple minutes’ away when you order!

We never stayed here. Accidentally got charged for this unit and never got our full refund for this home. Property manager was very difficult to get in touch with. Still waiting for a reply requesting my full refund. Not happy

Convenient location in a quiet family neighborhood in Ohio City. Downtown is minutes away. In town for a wedding. Had 3 girls getting ready with one bathroom but it worked. Down the street from Forrest City Shuffleboard which was a blast. One air-condition but it was cool enough. Host Billy responded quickly with questions. Suggest that you change the wifi info board to correct network name. Lovely stay.

We stayed from July 20 - 22 and had contacted the number provided the day we arrived for two issues: power outage in one of the rooms and the house had no hot water. Neither issue was fixed during our stay and we were forced to take incredibly cold showers both nights of our stay. A maintenance worker did come to the house on Sunday, July 21; however, was unable to locate the basement to access the water heater or panel box. He had reached out to his supervisor for more information and assured us he would return but never did. This was entirely unacceptable and did not at all meet the basic standards we expected for our visit. I submitted a complaint and request for reimbursement upon returning home on July 23 and have received no response from the customer service team in over 72 hours. Would not recommend anyone stay at the property. The issues are easily fixable, but the utter lack of customer service is appalling.

I was hesitant to book the property after reading the previous reviews about the AC and cleanliness of floors. I stayed with my spouse and 2 children (3 and 1) for 3 days. Positives: location and price Negatives: AC didn’t work and hosts were dismissive with feedback when they did reply (try to turn down AC and give it a few mins) like I didn’t try that. Obviously knew AC didn’t work and couldn’t do anything about it. Floors looked clean but our feet were black after a few hours. Hire a new cleaning service if you have one at all. If you’re staying with family for a few days don’t book. If it’s just you for a day (maybe two) go ahead.

House Hotels group has not maintained or monitored the condition of this property. The property was dirty, many things were non-functioning or non-existent. 1. A sign attached to the living room wall states incorrect information regarding the wi-fi name and password. I had to contact House Hotels to get the correct name and password. Just remove the sign to prevent confusion and hassle. 2. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. I am glad that the temperatures were not high during our stay. We had to rely on fans and open windows to keep temperature in the property comfortable. 3. The property is dirty. I could write my name in the dust that had accumulated on the table lamps. There seemed to be a sticky film on everything: tables, counters, blinds. The coffee maker was disgusting. 4. Not well stocked: no kitchen towels, no coffee filters, no bath mat (slick tile in bathroom). 5. World's tiniest bathtub and the glaze on the tub had peeled off of 75% of the surface. 6. Some outlets do not function and some lamps have bulbs that are burned out. 7. Damage to a wall in the living room had been repaired and no effort made to conceal the repair with paint. Overall, I was disappointed from start to finish. Many of these problems have easy fixes but management doesn't seem to care that they are not providing a good product on par with their competition. VRBO, holding a security deposit for 14 days after the rental termination date is nothing short of usury. Never again!

This place worked out perfectly for us since we were in town for a family event, and our family lived just a short walk from the rental home. Because of this, we walked throughout this cute, historic neighborhood many times. What a fun, safe, and beautiful area. The home was clean, attractive, and we had everything we needed. Check in was easy. All was as advertised. When I wrote to the owner using the VRBO link, I received a quick and helpful answer. I would recommend this rental to others, and I hope to come back to it next time I am in Cleveland.

We were very happy with the neighborhood and its proximity to downtown and the lake. We were able to walk or bike to most everything. Lake Erie, Progressive Field, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 25th Street Market and lots of nice eateries. The house itself is very nice. Love the historic charm. A few things could be repaired/replaced. The bathroom needs an update, but worked fine. The bed was firmer than we're used to. Some minor holes in the wall, that sort of thing. Nothing major. If we were to visit Cleveland again, we'd return to this house.

The unit was clean but not updated as advertised. Neighborhood was quiet and locals were friendly. Furniture was minimal, kitchen table was more of a coffee table with tiny chairs, not enough utensils for a family of 4, and the beds were horribly uncomfortable.

The place was clean, cozy and in a great location. We arrived Wednesday evening. Took a cold shower due to no hot water. Thursday morning temperatures drop to mid 50 so reached out to number posted on Bulletin board to report problem no answer and no response! By noon reached out on vrbo app to host Billy. He responded and said would notify when maintenance on way. Late Thursday I sent him message wondering why I hadn’t received a response. Cold bird bath again. Friday morning came and was apologized to and was told maintenance would be there in a few hours. Finally got water situation fixed by 2 pm. Other then having no hot water and dealing with the cold. I’d say this place is perfect for a get away. Or as I did just to come see the Cleveland Browns play and win. Sincerely a Browns fan from Phoenix

This property is managed by a company called The House Hotels, and every number they list goes straight to a voicemailbox that was always full. We had a difficult time checking in because their shady business email went straight to my spam inbox and they would not communicate via VRBO. It always kicked back an auto message that they were "busy with another guest". I had to call VRBO customer support to get a hold of them to get the check in info the day that we were meant to be checking in. The WiFi didn't work with the info left in the apartment and it took us 2 days of trying to get a hold of someone to finally work out that the info sheet we had was for a different property. The oven also didn't work. Aside from this, the unit was clean and in a great location.

While the house was clean and as described, we had NO hot water and management did nothing to make things right. Upon arrival, we were not able to connect to the Wi-Fi. We texted the number we were given and had that issue resolved within about 20 minutes We went to see a baseball game that evening and unfortunately, while getting ready for bed, realized we had no hot water. I texted the number we had used earlier that evening and got no response despite their claim to respond within an hour. We went to bed and I tried calling beginning around 6:30 am the next morning. Around 9:30am, I finally received a text which said "The owner is working with maintenance and the gas company right now." I texted and asked how long they anticipated until the problem was resolved. No response. I called BOTH numbers I found 4x EACH and was sent directly to voicemail. I texted again at 2:00 to request a status update by 3:00 so we could make alternate plans if necessary. At 3:36, the text I received said, "I'm sorry service is not expected to be restored today." That's it. NO apologies. NO discount on our stay. NO offer to put us up at one of their 40+ other properties. NOTHING. We packed our bags and left a day early. I contacted VRBO and we were reimbursed for 1 of the 2 nights. However, I strongly feel that if I hadn't contacted VRBO, we would have gotten nothing. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and avoid any property owned by this shady company. The place was cute and great location. However we didn’t have hot water or Wi-Fi our entire 3 days. The management was hard to get to respond and when they did they were not able to get anyone to the house to fix things until after our stay. We were very disappointed because it was a good space. They offered us a discount or partial refund if we left early.

The property was what we expected except for a problem that arose the first morning. We had no hot water. We had to contact the manager 3x before getting a response hours later. We were never contacted once the manager knew the problem was not going to be resolved as hoped. Again, we had to reach out to the manager multiple times. He only ever responded by text. A personal call would have gone a long way. We were offered a reasonable solution (access to an empty unit's shower) with a discount or a refund. We went with the reasonable solution with a discount. It still took much longer than anticipated to get access to the shower. (We checked in Friday afternoon, reported problem Saturday morning at 7:30 am, were told about options Saturday evening, received access after 11 am Sunday, Checked out Monday.) But ultimately, we did get a hot shower and anticipated a communication about the discount. Again, there was NO communication after the stay. I have stayed at other properties over the years and most check in at the end of the stay. There was NO personal communication. Finally, after 3 weeks and a few inquiries, I received an invoice showing the return of the security deposit and the discount. The discount was exactly what I would have expected. Overall, everything was handled, but better communication would have resulted in a better review.

It was a personal blessing to stay the night in my old childhood neighborhood in over 35 years. The house was beautiful and comfortable. My son and I were there for one night. There were absolutely no complaints except for the fact that the wi-fi they had available did not work at all. It was important due to the work I needed done on my laptop. Besides that, and the TV volume being poor I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for offering your home to us! Evangelist Anita

My husband, 2 year old and 7 month old (and our dog!) stayed for the weekend while visiting family. The house was exactly how it was listed and bigger than I expected. Check in was a breeze. The neighborhood is beautiful - I’m a jogger and enjoyed morning jogs through the area. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a pack n play and high chair available. Will def be using this property group again!!

This was a super-clean and comfortable ground floor apartment in a charming old two-story house. Everything was perfect in the property: comfortable bed, spotless rooms; crisp sheets and towels. The kitchen had everything, parking was super-easy and convenient and the neighborhood was wonderful for walking. I hated to leave!

It was a perfect space for me and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding! The open floor plan made it easy for us to get relax and get ready together. I didn't realize that one of the beds was actually a fold up mattress until we got there, but it ended up being easy to use and store. Plus, we love Ohio City. There's so many great places within walking distance like restaurants and little parks. The whole street is beautiful and well maintained, as well as quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay there again.
