“This was a great adventure, staying in a living treehouse, come wind, come rain, the cabin was rustic and cozy... rustic as there was a porta potty outhouse and outdoor wash sink. There was also a nice place for bonfires and hammocks for lounging. Sam made sure we had a heater for the cold weather and did a good job taking care of us. Most of the supplies we needed were found in the cabin which was really handy. We did some cooking over the fire and we didn’t think to pack the spray oil. The……

“Great property. Super cozy. Excellent hangout spots for both adults and kids. Daily visits from Swans, Sandhills cranes, geese, heron, kingfishers, pie billed ducks and lots of other birds species. “We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. “This was everything it reports to be. A wonderful property on the edge of a good lake for gentle boating. We wanted for nothing! The check in process is easy, the host provided for so many little needs, and the peace was wonderful.
