“Sarah and Allen were amazing hosts! We just wanted to take a moment to thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home — warm, welcoming, and filled with such authentic Irish charm.Their lovely St. Patrick's Cottage made our time in Downpatrick especially meaningful, giving us the perfect place to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together as a family. “This cottage is a real gem of a find. We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. We also enjoyed star gazing on the terrace……

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”
