The cabin was perfect for my wife and I for an awesome weekend getaway. Just as advertised. Beautiful cabin with hot tub, sauna, fire pit, pool table, foosball. Scenic, quiet and peaceful. Hosts were great and attentive. Highly recommend.

Birthday Getaway

The cabin is accurately pictured and was clean and cozy. We had a problem with the remote needing batteries but we were pleasantly surprised that they came out that night to replace them, so 5 star service! The only reason I’m not giving it a perfect score is that we felt the road leading to the cabin was downplayed when we inquired about it. The potholes in the gravel road were bumpy on the way in and the concrete section was very steep and narrow. There was an unexpected snow that covered the road when we left and coming down the hill was quite scary. The resident calico was very sweet and a pleasure to have around.

Amazing Week!!!!

We had the best week celebrating our anniversary! We used every amenity at the cabin (fire pit, hot tub, massage table, games, etc), hiked on the property with our dogs, saw the bison feeding and learned all about them, and saw lots of other animals. Cheryl and Jeff were awesome and super helpful! We would love to visit again!!!

Cute hideaway!

Buffalo bungalow was a charming place tucked away on the property. The 4 wheel drive recommendation could probably be year round, and I definitely recommend arriving in the daylight. We enjoyed trying out the hot tub and sauna and walking the property. We didn't get around to seeing the bison on our quick trip, but we did see llamas on our walk. Overall it was a great mini getaway.

Perfect Wedding retreat!

We eloped and wanted somewhere romantic, beautiful, and secluded. This was it! Loved the cabin, the animals, and the space. Only thing I could comment on would be the bed. It was very hard and I prefer a softer mattress. But that is just me being picky!

Awesome getaway

The cabin was clean, secluded and had everything you could ask for. It's definitely a memorable place. Feeding the goats were a huge bonus that made our stay even more special.

The Perfect Getaway

What can I say but other then simply perfect. This little bungalow has it all from hot tub on the porch to billiards and even a sauna. If you want a cozy yet almost secret getaway with your loved one, this I can recommend is the place to stay.

50th wedding anniversary celebration

On a Monday to Friday stay, rain and the threat thereof forced (allowed) us to stay in the cabin from mid-afternoon on Tuesday until we departed on Friday morning. We were fully prepared for that if necessary, and we had a wonderful time. The cabin also had everything else we needed. There is plenty to do nearby if weather permits and you prefer.

Honeymoon Trip

My husband and I recently got married. We stayed in the buffalo bungalow for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time! There's plenty there today but the cabin itself is so good, we rarely even left. I highly recommend visiting. We hope to stay again one day.

Mountain wedding weekend

My wife and I kicked off our honeymoon here after getting married in Waynesville. The bungalow was perfect!! Everything was just as advertised. Communication was flawless with Cheryl, Dennis, and everyone at Buffalo Creek Vacations going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely return!

Best Place We've Ever Stayed....Hands Down!

We loved our stay at buffalo bungalow. It was even more than we expected. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with all of the amenities, This is it! We enjoyed the hot tub & game room as well as the sauna & massage table. The property is absolutely stunning with the most amazing view. The Bisen, llamas, ponys & bunnies were an added bonus. I even had to facetime my grandbaby to show her, she was amazed! The porch kitty at the cabin was another added bonus & we had to spoil her with new toys before we left. Our host Cheryl was very informative & was very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back again! I can't wait!

This home was amazing!

This property is beyond beautiful. There was 4 to 5 inches of fresh fallen snow and it was like a picture! From the romantic bed to the hot tub and views, our stay was wonderful. I would suggest stopping st the grocery store on your way in cause you're not going to want to leave the property! We took our two dogs and they loved it! It would have been nice to know there is a cat that lives on the porch surrounding the house. My dogs are not used to cats and i had a hard time keeping them away from the kitchen door (blinds dont close). And taking them for walks on the leash was a struggle as they wanted to sniff and search out the cat. We also had an issue with the fireplace. We made sure the flute was open, but once the fire got going, smoke filled the hiuse and the fire alarms went off. Had to open the windows for a bit, but it cleared up. We didnt try again after that. Overall we loved the house and plan to return!!
