「It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. 」

「This was my first visit to Chiseldon House having to find another place to regularly stay after the closure of a different hotel & I have already booked again. That in itself says it all. The staff were friendly, cheerful & helpful. My room was spacious & overlooked the gardens with a delightful balcony, would be lovely in the warmer months. 」

Once inside it was clean and spacious, however we noticed a kitchen setup which upon inspection did not function. The oven and furnace seemed to have been disconnected from power and buttons were removed. Of course, this was no problem as the inn offers amazing food, so why would you cook your own?」
