「Cool renovated property that keeps that old fashioned charm. Spacious living with all the amenities you need for a vacation stay.」

「Pa's House was everything we had hoped for and more! Great setting, great location and extremely clean. Located in the heart of wine country, it made traveling to and from the local wineries convenient. We will most definitely be booking again in the fall, can't wait to get back! Thank you for sharing your family's home with us.」

「This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway at the wineries! We went to two vineyards that were right down the road. The VRBO was clean and there was plenty of space. The host was wonderful about communicating as well.」

「Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.」

「We will definitely book our next stay with this home as it was very very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host is very easy to communicate with, even though we didn't need to contact her about anything during our stay because everything was perfect. Having a garage to park in was definitely a plus. The king beds were comfy and the kitchen was stock with everything that we needed. Thanks again.」

「It’s a very cute old farm house nestled in a peach orchard! Rolling hills with a porch swing that overlooks the orchards and a pond. The hosts provide all of the essential's for a comfortable stay! Communication is wonderful from beginning to the end! Would stay here again and again!」

「This is a piece of history. A photographers dream. It drew me into an hour of capturing images.」

「The lodge was just as described, and more. It was clean and attention was paid to details. Before we arrived, our host recommended places to see and a restaurant called Mase's Place, that didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, it rained the day we arrived and all the next day so we didn't explore the property like we had hoped to, but we, along with our 2 furbabies, very much enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the rain hit the leaves. We are very much looking forward to staying there...

「We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working but the house was clean and everything else was great. They compensated us for the hot tub not working and were easy to communicate with. Five stars! 」

「Host was nice....house and beach needed some tlc. House was for the most part clean. I would come back. Love how secluded and private the house was. Definitely a place for a group.」

「Was worth the amount I was charged. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I had one minor issue but was resolved in a matter of minutes. They were very fast in responding to me. Would definitely recommend and I will be staying any time I go back to Cape Girardeau 」
