「It was a beautiful homey cabin nestled in the beauty of Sullivan County relaxing and comforting in the comforts of the past with amenities of today ! Just wish I had more time to have spent with my partner. 」

「Definitely felt like a vacation property and not someone’s home. Very comfortable stay even though we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities due to weather. Hankins is a very small and quiet town. Callicoon is nearby and has decent restaurants and small shops」

「Great location being right at the trailhead for hiking.」

「Mike and Debs were super friendly and welcoming! The hut is clean and comfortable with phone chargers and heating. There are several properties on the same land including an RV and cottage. There are also 2 neighboring huts sharing the same campfire and bathroom, but it is not cluttered and there was no clashing with neighbors. If you’re from out of town, ask Mike for restaurant recommendations! Their dogs are also so sweet and make the cutest mascots!」

「From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Mike and Deb have poured their hearts into this property. The care, love, and attention they have given every detail—from the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible cabin itself—can be felt instantly. The setting is peaceful, remote, and absolutely stunning. The cabin has everything you could possibly need, yet it’s the character that makes it unforgettable. The décor is fun, unique, and full of personality (yes, there’s even a...

「My friend and I stayed there for her 40th birthday and loved it! The host is friendly and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was very cozy. We really loved the creek in the backyard. We would like to plan another trip here.」

「The location and view are amazing. Truly beautiful. The endless firewood and materials to be able to make the fires and sauna hot was appreciated. In the kitchen, there is an ant problem. Had to kill a bunch. Some areas of the home were clean and some weren’t. Bugs left on window sills and spider webs in corners. Not sure when it was last vacuumed (that’s what it seemed like.) We enjoyed the stay with a few things that I had wished were a little more tidy especially for the price.」

「This place looks even better than what we have seen from the pictures. Everything within the property was very well maintained, organized and cozy. Paul and Chuck put a lot of hard work and love into this place. They included everything that was needed for a comfortable stay in an outdoors cabin, even things you wouldn't have considered in the first place. We were searching for a place to take a break from the city's atmosphere(the sound, the people, etc) and this place answered our needs for...
