“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. “We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6 in the bunk barn. The room was full of mould. The bunk barn doenst peovide enough space for 6 people and very little space to store belongings. Mould can cause serious risk to health when inhaled and given we had people with asthma in our group its a blessing it didnt cause and harm at this time. The female bathroom was infested in flies. All over the toilet paper and trapped between the sheets of the toilet paper, nevermind the amount in the sink and the……

“It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river.”
