We stayed for nine nights while attending the USSSA Firecracker World Series. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and everything looks new, but the overall experience did not match a luxury property at this price. The community is not gated and has no controlled access or security. There is also no elevator, which made carrying all our luggage and belongings upstairs for a family of four very inconvenient. We could not sleep or rest well because of the constant noise from footsteps in the apartment above and the light coming into the bedrooms. This is not about the people upstairs; the floors simply do not have proper soundproofing. Streetlights make the bedrooms bright at night, and sunlight comes in before 6:30 AM. The screened balcony had rat droppings on the floor. On our first day, an unknown substance from upstairs fell through the wooden floor and stained all the chairs, so we did not use the balcony. We also found silverfish in the laundry room. The trash area requires driving, and twice there was no container available, so I had to leave the trash outside in front of the garbage area. We also paid a higher nightly rate for our two-bedroom apartment than a family we know paid for a three-bedroom apartment at the same Landing property during the same tournament. The apartment itself is nice, and the gym and pool are great. But considering the price and all the issues mentioned above, we would not stay here again and do not recommend this property.

This property is very pet-friendly, and the process of registering our pet ahead of time was extremely easy. I called customer service twice before our trip, and each time the service was excellent. The luxury apartment was exactly as described in both the listing and the photos. When we arrived, the check-in instructions indicated there should be two mail keys and a key card for the pool. I only found one mail key, so I sent a message to the management team. They responded very quickly and let me know that I could pick up the second key if needed. Since we were only staying for a week, I did not end up needing it, but they still had it ready for me to pick up, which I appreciated. There was also a light in one of the closets that was not working. I reported it, and again they responded promptly and offered to send maintenance to fix it. Since we were only there for a short stay and weren’t using the closet, we declined, but it was great to see how quickly they were willing to address the issue. The pool area was extremely clean and very relaxing. The dog park was also well maintained, and we were very happy to have that option for our dog. Overall, the booking process was incredibly easy, and the cost was much more affordable than staying in a hotel for a week. The apartment truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and have no complaints about our experience.
