「I grew up on Long Island but no longer have family there. Derek's house was the perfect place to stay while visiting for the weekend. 「We came to visit family and were tired of staying in overpriced, dingy hotel rooms. This place was great. It’s a peaceful neighborhood, with a great view. We had some family over for a low key celebration, and Mike, the owner, was so accommodating. 「Was wonderful, clean, fun, & close to things to do! Only a few suggestions I have is fix the handrail. Instead of a boat paddle put a real handrail in. Its extremely hard to hold onto it at the top of the landing. Also Anti skid strips on the stairs going up. Last but not least put a shade or curtain on the door window that goes out on the small second floor deck so neighbors cant see in. All in all Mike was a wonderful communicator!」
