Stayed in a basic room which was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door didn't shut properly and the taps on the bath were very stiff and hard to switch on and off. The staff were very professional and the bar is large and comfortable seating

Stayed at the Bells hotel for business trip. Lovely place and views. Walking distance to village of Coleford. Nice clubhouse where you could get drink food and drinks. Nice little gym in hotel but had to pay £5 a day per person . Would stay again , nice and clean although bathroom was a bit rough and no air conditioning in room.

From the outside the hotel looked like any other country hotel, but once you step inside you almost notice straight away how tired looking the whole hotel is, the interior doors, the wallpaper. I stayed in room 17, didn’t sleep much, found the bed uncomfortable. It had a ‘smart tv’, well nothing smart about that tv , it kept going off and then on again. In fact it even came on in the middle of the night. Still I thought the price I paid was a bit low for a hotel in this country nowadays, and you know what they say, you get what you pay for.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the hotel’s booking system was very poor. It took over 30 minutes to confirm my reservation because they were unable to locate my booking on their system, which made the check-in process unnecessarily frustrating.
