Lovely property, comfortable and well furnished. The main issue was the lack of internet and WiFi which we needed to communicate with family back in the U.K. without a phone SIM for Australia

Lovely short stay
The home is large and well appointed and very comfortable. I've never stayed in a holiday home for a single night before, it seemed a bit extravagant, but (affordable) options for a family of 5 are limited around Freycinet and Coles Bay. Would be very happy to stay again if we were in the area, beautiful outlook and everything you needed, except for such a large house there were only 4 dining chairs and we couldn't find anything suitable for backup. I was frustrated when I called the holiday house agency at 140pm saying we would be in the area at 2pm, could I possibly leave stuff in the fridge (check in was at 3pm) before we went to Freycinet. The girl who answered the phone acted like it was an imposition to be asked "I'd have to call my cleaner." "If I don't text my cleaner they might think the food is leftovers and it will be chucked out." I was pretty frustrated, either just text 'your cleaner' or say no! The terms and conditions said to call to check if early check in was available so that's all I did!

Hi There, Thank you so much for your feedback, we are happy to hear you had a wonderful time. This is a lovely property to stay in, we do make an exception in winter for people to stay for one night (usually a 2 night minimum), as it is really hard to get accommodation in the region for one night only. We will advise the owners about adding extra dining chairs, thank you for letting us know. Regarding leaving food in the fridge before your arrival at 3pm, this is no inconvenience for us what so ever, we are always happy to try to make these arrangements for guests, however we need to touch base with staff before saying yes or no. If you were to drop this off and we had not heard back from staff, they would have gone to the house (if they hadn't cleaned it yet) and thrown it all out thinking it was from the last guests. We were in the middle of explaining this to you when you "hung up" on my staff member. If you had been happy for us to ensure the cleaners did get our text (before saying yes) and for us to call you back, that would have been fine. We were trying to ensure your items were going to be safe to leave, we were not trying to be inconvenient. I'm sure you can appreciate the last thing we would want is all of your purchased food be thrown out. We hope you had a wonderful time and look forward to hopefully seeing you back again. Thank you again for your feedback.

Well worth a few days
Spent 3 nights here , very lovely house and great location without being right down in the heart of Wine Glass Bay , but in saying that given it’s a national park area night driving was a big no no .... Nice views overlooking the golf course , pity I didn’t have time to play but looks a nice little 9 holer. Only faults we had were the beds should’ve been queen size not doubles and the driveway is to steep if you’re gonna have a gravel driveway . And if you don’t have Telstra then expect no internet but that is already explained

Hi Chris, Thank you for your feedback and review. We love to hear back and find you have had a wonderful time. The beds actually are queen beds in this house, not doubles. Other countries have different names for different sizes, in Australia the bed size in between a double and a king, is the queen size. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful region and hope to see you back again!
