The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off. We had a Spectacular stay at Casa Metallo!

Giuseppe and Concetta treated us like family. Their villa enabled our family to have a very special stay in Tuscany. It was a great central location for visiting Florence, Siena, Volterra, Montalcino and several other towns in Toscana. The pool and outdoor eating area allowed us to enjoy the magnificent views of the Tusacan countryside during our casual dinners after our exciting days of touring. I highly recommend this villa for a great stay in the Tusacn countryside.

We had a fabulous time! We lived our stay at Casa Metallo in May 2016 that we booked again for our June 2017 trip. The Tuscan region is filled with so many quaint and picturesque towns/villages to explore and enjoy. Casa Metallo is a villa is centrally located to allow us to visit so many of them with minimal driving. We can then arrive home to the villa to relax, cool off in the beautiful pool and then marvel at the gorgeous Tuscan country side from a comfortable chaise lounge. Casa Metallo is truly a wonderful villa for a great vacation in this region. The villa owners are onsite and available for any type of help or assistance that was needed, however the design of the villa provides the privacy for family time and relaxation. During this recent trip we had 2 other couples with us and they enjoyed the spaciousness and beauty of Casa Metallo. The owners are wonderful and warm; their onsite daughter is very helpful and is fluent in English and Italian. Traveller tips: What can one say about theTuscan countryside....it's absolutely gorgeous and picturesque...with its rolling hills filled with geeen vineyards and family farms...beautiful blue skies...unique and historic towns...and the wine, cheeses and breads...what more could you want to have a great and relaxing vacation/holiday with family and friends. We love the region and can see ourselves returning for visits to relax and to visit new and different towns.

Un sėrieux manque de climatisation

Belle maison de vacances avec piscine Très bon accueil. Il serait indispensable d'installer une climatisation, absence de ventilateurs et de prises contre les moustiques. Une literie correcte mais draps et oreillers usagers. Absence de signalisation de la maison de vacances dans la commune.

Unterkunft nahe den tollen Ausflugorten Siena, San Gimignano und Volterra. Schöne Gegend, typisch Toskana. Distanz zum Meer eher weit, auch aufgrund Strassenzustand. Sehr sauberer und gepfleger Umschwung inkl. Pool. Wasser Ende September teilweise bereits kalt. Nette Vermieter, jedoch ohne viel Kontakt. Es wurde uns 1x WC-Rolle zur Verfügung gestellt, auf Nachfrage gab es eine 2te (5er Familie...). Haus sehr sauber, leider im Badezimmer täglicher Besuch von Käfern. Ingesamt aber erfüllt.

Traumhafte Aussichten

Das Haus liegt idyllisch mit toller Aussicht in die klassisch toskanische Landschaft. Es ist groß und geräumig, mit 8 Personen ab bereit gut belegt. Die Bäder sind großzügig geschnitten, die Duschkabinen leider nicht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses insgesamt ist gut und zweckmäßig, es gibt z.B. zwei große Kühlschränke. Ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck ist vorhanden. Ergänzend empfiehlt sich das Mitbringen eines scharfen Küchenmessers. Der Außenbereich ist ansprechend und gepflegt. Der Pool toll.

Se solo avesse fatto caldo...

Soggiorno di relax e divertimento in una fantastica villa con ampia piscina e panorama mozzafiato. Proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili, pulizia impeccabile sia internamente che all'esterno. Bel barbecue e forno per pizza. Posizione isolata ma facilmente raggiungibile. Una sola pecca.... mancava un sole splendente tutti i giorni ed il caldo... ma purtroppo il sig. ... non poteva aiutarci:) ... grazie di tutto e sicuramente se avremo occasione torneremo molto volentieri.

Die ideale Unterkunft für eine...

Die ideale Unterkunft für einen Toskana–Urlaub. Das Haus steht in einer super Lage mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Hier bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus war sehr sauberund alles voll funktionsfähig. Die Bett5en waren sehr bequem und die Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten, sich im Freien aufzuhalten. Eine schöne Pergola löädt zum Essen ein und der Bereich um den Pool lässt einen aus dem Schwärmen nicht mehr heraus kommen.Die Besitzer des Hauses wohnen mit auf dem Grundstück. Das war aber überhaupt kein Problem. Nach dem sehr freundlichen Willkommen (mit Kaffee und Kuchen) hat man sie nur noch ganz sporadisch gesehen. Sie sind derart nett, hilfsbereit und zurückhaltend. An einem Abend wurden wir (5 Erwachsene) von der Familie zum Pizza–Essen eingeladen. Dazu wurde der gemauerte Pizzaofen angefeuert und wir wurden fürstlich bewirtet mit einer Pizza die ihres gleichen sucht. Gekrönt wurde der Abend noch mit selbstgemachtem Limoncello.Das ist keine gezwungene Lobeshymne, es war wirklich ein Traumurlaub und wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Note: 1***
