「Cute apartment, clean and with air conditioning, and good location. Our only issue was with check-in. There is a common lockbox and after 7 hours of train delays, we arrived in the dark of night to find there wasn’t a key for us. Amazingly the hosts replied when we called at almost midnight and they did sort it out and come give us a key. However, we were just getting into bed when another family arrived and opened the door, claiming they had rented this apartment. We noticed they had taken our...

「Bart is a fantastic host. The boat house room was fun, hopefully he’ll be able to get AC installed in the future. Very convenient to the tram and a few restaurants. We’ll definitely stay there again when in Ghent」

「Most misleading description ever. Here is an accurate one:
You get one of 7 sparse, tiny rooms and get to share 1.5 bathrooms, one of which does not lock, with strangers like a boarding house. If that sounds like your jam for 110€, the tram stop is close and the neighbourhood has diverse cultural eating establishments.」
