Helpful reception
We arrived late at 11pm without any prior notice. There was no one at the reception. We called the hotel and it was quickly answered within 10 sec. They even called us back to the hotel fixed line so that we don't need to pay for expensive roaming. Key was reserved for us in a safe at the reception.

很经济的宾馆，就是楼层一高之后，wifi信号不是很好，到科隆大教堂步行需要25分钟，不过附近有地铁可以搭乘，其他方面的还行，前台的服务人员很耐心，不错

nice stay with a reasonable price
Great location, 20minutes walking to the Dom, staff is nice and helpful. Room is clean. However no lift is available.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Straße im Zimmer nicht hörbar (gute Dämmung), nach innen dafür umso mehr. Ein Partytrupp kam um 3:30 Uhr ins Zimmer mit lauten Diskussionen. Gut hörbar bis in mein Zimmer. Personal sehr nett, Rezeption bis 18 Uhr besetzt

Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Hotelgebäude recht alt und daher im Augenblick in Renovierung befindlich, aus diesem Grund die Angabe "mittelmäßig". Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad TOP! Preis/Leistung absolut perfekt. Wenn die Renovierung abgeschlossen ist, gibt es gar nichts mehr zu Meckern. Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht und daher keine Bewertung dafür.

La atención es muy buena, el lugar es comodo, la habitación tiene todo lo necesario para tener una estancia tranquila y agradable. Esta algo retirado de la central de trenes pero no es problema hay opciones de transporte publico.

Ruime, schone kamer. Vriendelijke eigenaar die doorgaans alles aan het vernieuwen is. Foto's kloppen niet meer. Prachtig ontbijtzaaltje, gerenoveerde kamer en badkamer. Alleen bed is aan vervanging toe. Gebeurd binnenkort. Heel stil, ondanks aan drukke wstraat. Lopend maar binnenstad.

Para llegar al hotel tuve que hacer una llamada telefónica pues las indicaciones del sitio web me llevaron a otro edificio una cuadra antes y en la acera frente al hotel. El joven que me atendió por teléfono fue muy amable y me dió las indicaciones para llegar. La habitación y el baño pequeños, pero muy limpios. El desayuno muy rico y variado. Debido a que el edificio es antiguo no tiene ascensor y la habitación nos tocó en el 3er. Piso, por lo que es un punto que se debe considerar sobretodo si llevas mucho equipaje.

Die Unterkunft scheint etwas älter zu sein, was man auch anhand der Räumlichkeiten feststellen kann (z.B. verschmutzte Wände). Das Zimmer fand ich ganz ok für eine Nacht. Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung eingerichtet und das Badezimmer war auch genauso wie das Zimmer in einem sauberen Zustand. Das Duschen gestaltet sich allerdings als schwierig, da Wasser aus der Duschkabine heraustropfte. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schade ist nur, dass die Rezeption im Allgemeinen nicht so lange besetzt zu sein scheint, wie ich es von anderen Hotels kenne. Die Rezeption war (so wie ich es verstanden hatte, nur zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten besetzt). So hätte man die Möglichkeit, sich jederzeit beim Personal zu melden, wenn es Probleme gibt. Die Unterkunft scheint im Allgemeinen auch nicht behindertengerecht eingerichtet zu sein. Die Rezeption und die Zimmer befinden sich ab dem ersten Stock aufwärts und sind mit der Treppe zu erreichen (ich glaube es gibt keinen Aufzug). Für mich war es zwar in Ordnung, dennoch ist es für Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen doch schwierig in ihre Zimmer zu gelangen. Ansonsten liegt die Unterkunft gerade wenige Gehminuten von der nächstgelegenen U-Bahn Station entfernt, weshalb man sehr gut in der Kölner Innenstadt angebunden ist.

The best part about this place is that the beds were very comfortable, other than that, very old fashioned, more like a hostel , only stairs no lift, the stairs are a hazard and the host seems to want to save money on everything. Although it was a very clean place.

Das Bild vom Zimmer passte überhaupt nicht zur Unterkunft. Renovierungsarbeiten. Alles sehr primitiv. Kein Schrank, Schimmel in der Dusche, kleines Zimmer, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl, getrennte Betten .Wir blieben nur eine Nacht, für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir das Hotel gewechselt. Und dafür knapp 140,00 Euro ohne Frühstück.

Does the job
Good location and reasonable quality. The hotel is being refurbished so the stairs are covered to protect the carpet and there are a couple of decorators around which is a bit disconcerting. We had two triple rooms which were right at the top of the building so several flights of stairs to climb. Our rooms had been refurbished to a good standard. However the bathroom had no hooks/rails for towels or clothes so you had to drape them on the sink/back of the toilet and there was no curtain/door in the shower so the bath mat got very wet. Over all these issues did not detract from our stay, just things to be aware of.

Die Fotos zeigen nicht den aktuellen Zustand des Hotels. Im Moment (oder schon seit Längerem) wird es renoviert, sodass man den ganzen Staub und Dreck mit ins Zimmer schleppt. Das Treppenhaus (es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl bei 5 Stockwerken) war vollständig mit grauem Filzteppich ausgelegt und abgeklebt. Das Zimmer selbst war zu zweit und nur zum Schlafen groß genug, aber mehr Zeit haben wir dort nicht verbracht. Die ersten 2 der 4 Tage roch der Abfluss der Dusche wirklich sehr unangenehm, je öfter wir Wasser durch spülten umso besser wurde es. Es gab im Bad genau einen Haken für die Handtücher - der hing genau in der Dusche. Wir haben unsere nassen Handtücher dann immer quer im Zimmer auf gehangen, bevor wir gingen. Das Fenster war groß, konnte aber nicht problemlos geschlossen werden. Störte uns bei den Temperaturen nicht, aber im Winter ist es wahrscheinlich ärgerlich. Unser Doppelbett hatte keine richtige Bettmatratze. Es war eher wie eine große Schlafcouch mit einer gelben Schaumstoffauflage. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht bewerten, wir haben täglich beim Bäcker gegessen und waren happy. Die Umgebung war nachts manchmal laut, da unser Zimmer zum Hinterhof ging, von der Straße haben wir aber nichts mitbekommen. Das war tatsächlich ganz nett. Aber am Meisten bemängele ich tatsächlich die Sauberkeit von Allem. Abgesehen davon, dass in den 4 Tagen nicht ein einziges Mal der Mülleimer im Zimmer oder im Bad geleert wurde, war alles staubig oder mit Kratzern versehen.

Fine for what it is
The person who checked me in was a little uninterested, but otherwise the stay was fine. They seemed to be having work done on the place. The bathrooms could do with a refresh, but they were adequate. The room was good. Only stayed one night and it did the job.
