Perfect hotel when you are attending a show at the Lanxess Arena. The area made us feel safe even though we got back pretty late. We woke up during the night cause someone was screaming/ laughing really loud but we called the reception and someone said they will come and take a look from which room it was coming. Which was handled perfectly in our opinion. Not the quietest but completely fine for a night.

Great location if you are coming for FIBO trade Show. 5 minute walk. Pretty quiet and peaceful and night, although highway is very close by. Strongly recommend!

It's nice and convenient for a short stay. The rooms are quite small, and mine looked like it had a leak from the shower. It's not close to many of the attractions in Cologne, but transportation is easily reached from the hotel.

Not Suitable for Families

I recently stayed at IBIS budget hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of the hotel that made my stay less than satisfactory. Firstly, I was surprised to find out that the hotel required a deposit for the use of a hairdryer. This seemed unusual to me, as hairdryers are a standard amenity in most hotels. Additionally, the bathroom lacked any sort of curtain or door, which made it quite awkward and uncomfortable for my family. This lack of privacy was a major inconvenience and made the bathroom feel very exposed. Finally, the room itself was incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. This made it difficult to unpack and relax, and it felt quite cramped, especially with my family. Overall, I would not recommend IBIS budget hotel for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The lack of privacy in the bathroom, the deposit required for a hairdryer, and the cramped room made for a disappointing experience.

Wir haben die Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt zwecks Konzertbesuchs gebucht. Hierfür war sie gut geeignet,da die Lanxess Arena schnell erreichbar war.

Für eine Nacht war es oke. Leider hat die Klimaanlage trotz höchster Stufe nichts gebracht und es war zu laut, um das Fenster aufzumachen. Für einen Kurztrip ist dieses Hotel in Ordnung aber längere Zeit würde ich hier nicht bleiben. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Aber das WC in der Lobby war leider stark verschmutzt.

Praktisches, kostengünstiges Hotel für Konzert- oder Messebesuche. Gute Lage, S-Bahn ist in 5min zu erreichen. Zimmer war sauber. Seltsamerweise konnte man die Toilettentür nicht abschließen und es gab sehr wenige Möglichkeiten seine Sachen zu verstauen. Ansonsten aber gut :)

Die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel war super. Allerdings war das Zimmer sehr klein. Der Ablüfter von der Toilette geht in das Schlafzimmer - dies sorgt für unangenehme Gerüche im Schlafzimmer. Die Sauberkeit um die Dusche herum war nicht gut.

Prima, eenvoudig en degelijk hotel met nette kamer. Ook de sympathieke actie kon ik waarderen : indien je ervoor kiest om je kamer niet te laten reinigen dan krijg je een voucher om uit de bar in de lobby een drankje naar keuze uit te kiezen! Zo kan het nuttige (milieu) met het aangename verenigd worden :).

Ich kann das Ibis Budget Köln Messe wirklich empfehlen, wenn man nach einer günstigen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit sucht. Der Preis ist sehr fair, und die gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel macht es einfach, die Stadt zu erkunden. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man für nur 5 Euro pro Tag direkt vor dem Hotel parken kann – das ist in Köln nicht selbstverständlich. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber ausreichend ausgestattet, inklusive Duschgel und Seife. Das Bad ist offen und daher nicht für jeden geeignet - eher für Paare und Alleinreisende. Natürlich darf man keinen Luxus erwarten, aber für eine kurze Reise ist alles da, was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls in Ordnung und bietet einen guten Start in den Tag. Insgesamt ein solides Hotel für alle, die eine günstige, praktische Unterkunft suchen. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert. Wir haben insgesamt 80 Euro für eine Übernachtung inkl. Frühstück für zwei Personen in den Ferien bezahlt.
