We didn't expect much since we simply needed a base near Colmar. Quite family friendly, perfectly located (15 min by bike to Colmar), but nicely isolated from the tourist crowds. "Booked 2 rooms, one room the shower is not draining properly. Breakfast is very basic. Second room no curtains, my sister requested to put one but they said they don’t have it.. our last day we requested to have 7:30 breakfast as we have to travel and the lady said no. So we ended up no breakfast and left the hotel. Mind you the breakfast starts from 7-9 but we couldn’t have it 7:30 so doesn’t make sense.. "

"We had a very nice stay in this spacious house. We could take our dog for nice walks. By car it is not far from beautiful villages. The weather wasn’t too good, so we could only sit outside a few times. The house itself is nice with three large bedrooms. Our daughters loved the “pink” room."

"The house is beautiful and spacious--among the nicest rentals we've visited. If anything, it's lovelier in real life than it looks in the photos. Our week didn't go as planned for a handful of reasons, and we ended up spending a lot more time at the house than we intended. I was worried about the energy fees, housebound in winter as we were--but it wasn't bad at all. Under other circumstances, I doubt we'd have gone over. I think having everything itemized as it is with this property works out...
