This was one of the better houses we have stayed at (our little group tries to take as many little "getaways" as we can!). Absolutely gorgeous sunsets from the deck every evening! We walked the property, trying not to startle the many deer who live there.
We had read reviews of there not being ample paper products at the house, so we came prepared - but it wasn't necessary. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the pantry - lots of spices (no regular pepper, which we thought strange, but lots of other fun stuff to cook with!). After staying at so many houses, we know to bring cookware/tools that we know we will need. The appliances in the kitchen are high end Viking which is wonderful (I seriously make sure there is a gas range when choosing a house to stay in).
I do have one suggestion for the owners: we had some trouble figuring out the fireplace our first night - no directions there. The owners texted me the next morning to see how our first night was. When I told them about the fireplace, they apologized and said that there should be a sign on it saying not to use it. I ALWAYS look for a house with a fireplace (especially in February with the way the weather is). I don't think a house should be advertised as having a fireplace if guests are not to use it.
Overall lovely house, with responsive owners.
