Old building, not updated lately. Floor in the room was not carpeted, our socks got dirty walking on it. Breakfast was fair. Small tv. They did allow dogs, at only $10 each.

Would rate zero if I could
We were trying to find a place close to family and allow dogs. I have stayed at Motel 6 on south side of Chicago that were cleaner. We pulled up at night and the outside seemed promising. It is a busy area but didn't really have an issue. Great restaurant next door (Legends). We got our key, grabbed dinner, and then went to room. It was disgusting. The one chair looked like it was pulled off the side of a road. The floor clearly had not been mopped. Half the trim was missing around the room and was filthy. There were little holes in the ceiling. The final straw was when we went in bathroom and tile was not clean, looked like faucet and handles were sprayed and not wiped, and there was a bunch of hair in the shower. Grabbed some quick pictures and left. The young gentleman at the front desk was friendly and apologized. He offered another room but we elected another hotel. Unfortunately, the app is not allowing me to upload pictures. It was worth an extra 10-15 min drive to find a clean, pet-friendly hotel. Do not recommend this hotel.

Disappointed customer
We did not stay… the room was horrible… bedspread was dirty, mattress did not fit on the bed frame, bathroom door had a hole in it, bathtub was peeling in several areas, bathroom light was partially working and a couple fixtures were missing. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

my Husband is handicap and legally blind when I told the assistant at the front desk, she immediately changed our room from second floor to first, so he did not have to claim stairs.

Room was cleaned sufficiently. But terrible odor as soon as I opened the door to walk in. I can’t describe it exactly but kind of like a wet dog and a nursing home room that hadn’t been cleaned.

Mold on the walls by the bed, on floor corners, and shower area. My room smelled like days old dry urine but I didn’t complain since I was staying for only one night by myself and I wasn’t from that area. The complementary bathing gels only had scrapes left in the bottles. Toilet paper was near finished. I wonder if my room was actually cleaned or just got the sheets fixed and that’s it. The rating on here before I booked a spot here is wild to me because I did not experience that rating.

It was amazing . they did have some remodeling . I love place with the continental breakfast but did nt like we could nt take it to the room . i had to small children and was really no place for the three of us to sit together.

Room is “remodeled “ but only the sink… dirt on the walls. Hair in the sink. Bathtub is stained. Stains on the carpet. And they started tearing the roof off at 6 am. Do not recommend. $50 a night at best. NOT $150

Room was nasty! Stains, floor was soaking wet constantly, cob webs, dirty mirrors. Never got extra towels or toilet paper. Wouldn’t recommend!

The reason for this rating is that the air freshener used in the rooms was so strong, I actually couldn't breathe. I can still taste that stuff and it's been 5 days. It was horrifying. If you have any sensitivity to perfumes and strong odors, just say no. I almost slept in my car. It was really strong.

It was nasty. When we first walk in the room it looked clean. Our room had wood flooring which was sticky and nasty. There was nowhere to hang up our clothes. Then over in the night in the bathroom was roaches. The next morning they were crawling on the wall behind the TV. By 7am they were out of breakfast. We pay for breakfast. The male staff was rude. Other guest was coming in so I let him know about the food shortage, He just looked at me. I asked for a discount they said they had to speak with the manager

Comfy room, good service, and an amazing shower! The restaurant next door had me craving steak. I was honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this stay. Will definitely come back.
