Excellent

We had a great stay! If you're visiting during the summer, I recommend bringing a fan or two for the upstairs area, as it can get a bit warm. Other than that, the process was smooth, and the experience was very nice.

Annual Christmas Shopping Trip

Great house for me and my sisters.. also very close to our niece and it's a great central location to Polaris, Easton and not too far from Tanger.

The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived. Miscommunication between the owner and cleaning crew apparently. The listing stated it will sleep 16 which is not true. The pillows were awful!!! We had to go out and buy all new pillows. They were so flat. House needs updated. Cleaning could have been better but I feel the cleaning people were trying to rush cause the guest before us had made a mess. The kitchen was nice and the overall floor plan was nice for all of us. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great.

Quiet and quaint stay

It’s exactly what we needed for a conference we were attending. It was a cute place with all the amenities needed for the week! The neighborhood is very nice looking as well.

Annual Christmas Shopping Trip

Only here for a short trip, house was the perfect size for my family of 7, plus dog friendly with a huge yard for my dog! Jordan was very accommodating and gave the perfect set of directions and making sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend for your family and we will absolutely stay again!

Better than a hotel

Four friends and I were in town for a sporting event. This house was great for us. No frills, but plenty of comfortable beds, two full baths and a kitchen with a gas stove/oven. The only thing missing was a washer and dryer. But, we knew that going in, so we just packed accordingly. Would stay there again.

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood, and convenient location in Columbus

We were in town for a wedding and stayed here with our family of 9 adults. While it was a little tight on sleeping quarters, we knew that would be the case before we booked. The kitchen could be better stocked with pots and pans and cups and dishes for the number of advertised guests.

Wedding

My wife and I were in town for my son's wedding and my mother and brother stayed with us. The house was in a convenient location for all the running around we had to do. It was very clean and spacious, with a nice sized yard for our dog. My other brother and his wife came over during down time and there was plenty of room to hang out. The instructions Jordan provided were thorough and clear, and he was very responsive to the questions I had before we checked in. The bottle of wine he left us was a nice touch! Despite the signs from the neighbors, they left us alone. We had to load and unload alcohol for the wedding reception and no one said a word to us. It got a little warm in the main bedroom upstairs since we're used to ceiling fans, but nothing uncomfortable. It made a stressful weekend more enjoyable. At the end of each day, it was nice to return to the house to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay here again.

Average place to stay

The home is surrounded by people who make it VERY obvious that you are not welcome. If you are uncomfortable with signs in the yards (on every side of you) letting you know you are not welcome as a short-term rental, be prepared and come ready to keep your head held high. ;) The listing itself is mostly well-represented. It is outdated in some ways/cheaper quality furniture... and needs a little detail in non-important ways. ie: Some finishes (paint, trim, old stains in carpeting, very old towels, etc) could be cleaned up BUT it was clean. The space was great. The best areas are definitely the main living area upstairs and the kitchen. Owners left K-cups and basic seasoning which was super kind. Overall not bad, just not boujie. :)

House has potential

Overall, the property served its purpose in housing our family for our stay in Ohio during our sons wedding. The beds were comfortable. We basically just slept there although, we had hoped to cook some meals and spend more time enjoying the home. The house has potential but needs some work. The pictures do not reflect the current state of the house. The entire property could use a good paint job and a top to bottom deep clean. The downstairs futons are so stained that we didn’t even want to sit it on them. The kitchen was disgusting. The toaster looked like it had never been cleaned, the oven was gross. The kitchen sink had crumbs in it, the refrigerator looked like it had not been cleaned and the bottom of the freezer was full of crumbs and melted ice cream. Needless to say, we did not cook in the kitchen. We used the toaster after attempting to clean it. In addition to the state of the house, it was very disappointing to pull up and see signs from the neighbors, expressing their dislike of the house being used as a vacation home. There were signs from across the street, on the side fence facing the house and on the property of the house behind us. No one was unkind to us, but certainly not friendly in the least. It is obvious this house being a VRBO is not wanted in the neighborhood. Jordan was easy to communicate with and responded promptly through Vrbo. Hopefully he will make sure the house is updated and clean for the next guest.

Maybe ok for a one night stay, but I do not recommend for any longer. No working smoke detectors, no dustpan or vacuum, mold on bathtub, mold on ice dispenser, musty smell and dirty carpets. Listing needs to be updated to reflect the actual condition. It is not completely updated.

Columbus weekend stay

We had a great stay in this property! The owner was in touch immediately after booking. It is in a nice neighborhood within minutes of gas stations, stores and restaurants. 15-20 minutes to almost anything you wanna do in Columbus. There was tons of room for our whole family with plenty of towels and linens for everyone. The host also stocked the unit with complimentary coffee, water and a bottle of wine. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Weekend Stay

The property was in a neighborhood that was convenient to everything we needed. There was not enough linens, so we were fortunate that one family member could bring more linens. The house was clean, except previous people left ash tray and some garbage on deck. Neighbors were not friendly, but since it was cold it was no problem.We had fun thrifting and enjoyed the OSU game, except the team up North won.

Adequate, but far from perfect.

Beds were ok comfy. Futons were horribly uncomfortable to sleep on. Kitchen had the bare minimum, had to supplement with measuring cups / large bowl from the dollar store. Kitchen seating is metal chairs and stools, very uncomfortable. We made the mistake of lifting up a couch cushion when looking for a lost phone. DON'T make our mistake!! Cosmetic issues throughout - paint, molding, flooring, chipped paint in every room. Deck lounge chair is thrashed by prior renter. Nice neighborhood. Quiet and good location for our needs. Host communication was lacking. Right after check in i asked for late checkoit. Got no confirmation for 2 days, despite multiple times reaching out. I fonally texted that I was aisuming late checkout was ok. Cleaning crew showed up well before we were ready. Host asked me to wheel garbage bin to curb, because he wouldn'tbe able to make it over. No big deal. . . Plenty of towels and linens. of linens and towels fornour group

Nice, laid back atmosphere

The house was as described. It definitely had a laid back feel, which was perfect for our family. The own made communication easy and the neighborhood was inviting.
