Bathroom in our room was in ill repair. Stains in the tub, walls around the tub were in terrible shape, floor tile was loose and coming up around the toilet. Rest of the room was decent. Breakfast was good with friendly staff, however the check in hostess needs some hospitality training.

Door to room would drag making a great racket closing and opening the door. Water would not get hot for hand washing or shower. Indoor lighting was poor and room looked very run down. We know that you are in the middle of a remodel but why was I charged full price?

The property appears to be getting renovated, but the bathroom in our room was a wreck. The tub had a large stain, lots of failed and moldy caulk, wall with water damage, the door was split in multiple places, and very worn fixtures. In the room itself, the curtains were torn. The internet was very slow. Perhaps when renovations have been completed, this property might be OK, but our room needed a ton of work.

The property is undergoing renovations and that isn't a problem. The hotel was clean and presented well. However, our room was somewhat humid. There was good variety at breakfast. The gentleman that runs the breakfast was very helpful and nice. I was very impressed with him. The desk staff were not very friendly. I would stay there again but I've had better experiences at other La Quinta's.

The staff were very friendly and the best part of the stay. Breakfast was better than I anticipated, with a good variety of choices and great staff. The gym needs work (only one piece of working equipment) and the hot tub was not available. At least the pool was nice, as it was too hot outside to use an outdoor pool.

The only thing I liked about the property is that the staff were attentive and that it had breakfast offered at no extra charge. What I did not like. -- I did not have access to the elevator and my room was on the second floor for the entire weekend. I was planning on using the fitness center for my workouts both days but it was unavailable. I also did not have another option for fitness, as the pool too was out of operation for the entire weekend. In this day and age to have spotty WIFI service is ridiculous. In what I consider to be a halfway point between to major cities you would think that almost all of your travelers would require dedicated, problem free WIFI. I had to login several times before it finally accepted the password I was given, and even then it would kick me off every 30-35 minutes for 1-2 minutes at a time. I am would have expected for such no use of regular facilities that a discount of 25% would have been offered but since, I received none when I checked in. I am likely to submit for a refund because I did not book my stay at this location to not been able to use all of the facilities that it offered and would have booked somewhere else.

4 out of 5 stars. Elevator was malfunctioning/property was under major renovation and was never advertised as such. Asked for a first floor room and they had none available. Front desk staff had to escort us upstairs in the elevator and we felt we could not come and go as we pleased. My wife had just had surgery and had we known this we would have booked a different hotel. Otherwise our stay was fine, but these things should be advertised so people can make better decisions on where they stay. Staff was apologetic and friendly. Just minus one star for the elevator inconvenience.
