Peaceful River Retreat

Lovely, tastefully decorated home with an amazing river view and a fully equipped kitchen where we made several meals. Direct access to GAP trail, for biking to Ohiopyle and Pinkerton bridges. Beautiful hikes nearby with waterfall Bald Eagle sighting and spring wild flowers. People with mobility problems may struggle with stairs.

Excellent stay!

We stopped off at Casselman River Loft on our drive to Kentucky for Thanksgiving. We felt right at home when we arrived. The loft is very nicely appointed and equipped with all the essentials. We hope to return!

Fall Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, well-appointed loft! It was the perfect getaway to celebrate Thanksgiving, play board games, and finish a jigsaw puzzle while eating leftovers and drinking hot cocoa. We really enjoyed the king size bed and comfy mattress as well. Overall a 10/10 stay!

Spacious cozy getaway

This property is a hidden gem! It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. The loft Is in a great location with very easy access to the GAP, and just a short drive to Ohiopyle. We look forward to a return visit.

Castleman Loft

This property is amazing! The best VRBO I have stayed at. The loft is spacious, very clean, and the location and view of the river makes it the perfect place. It is furnished head to toe with everything you could need while traveling. The modern decor and coziness of the place tops it off to make for a wonderful stay.

Fall 2024 Confluence

This is our third stay at the loft and we can’t say enough good things about the place and Kara from the Yough Treehouse. The location is perfect for everything. As far as the loft, it’s the perfect place for us. It’s clean, spacious, and has everything you need to make for a great weekend. We would definitely recommend it and can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect Loft!

The Loft was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what we needed! It was super close to the GAP, and the perfect place to take a 2 day break from biking. Thank you to Kara and her team for everything!

Wow! The loft is amazing. It is meticulously clean, comfortable and spacious. Kara was extremely responsive when I had questions. This was hands down our favorite stop along the GAP trail.

Amazing stay at the Casselman River Loft

Kids described loft as very luxurious. Great river view and lots of space. Great lighting and air conditioning, crazy to think that it used to be an old chool house. Very convenient location for a variety of outdoor adventures. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great new space!

Wonderful new space, beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and living room furniture. Nice and bright with large windows! Close to the bike trail! Convenient to Ohiopyle and many hikes!

The 808 Loft on the river.

We stayed at the Loft and would rate it five stars. The loft if perfectly located in confluence and we couldn’t ask for more. We rode the trial to Ohiopyle and had a great day sitting by the river. The whole process was super smooth and Kara was so helpful. We will recommend the loft to others and would stay again if visiting Confluence.

10 out of 10, everything perfect!

This is our 3rd year and 4th time renting Casselman River Loft. We biked to Ohiopyle one day and drove to Deep Creek the second day to walk around the lake and hike in the Swallow Falls State Park. Accommodations were spotless, everything thought-out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you!

Beautiful loft!

Our family spent two relaxing nights at the loft - which is spacious, clean, well-appointed and decorated so nicely. 20-25 minute drive to Ohiopyle for rafting. We recommend and world return!

Ski weekend getaway

What a great find! Absolutely loved the place! The space and decor was beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and the kitchen was amazing. Plenty of space for the four of us to cook and hang out. We would definitely come back and recommend this rental to friends and family! Thank you!

We stayed in the loft in 2022 and came back again this year! Our family loves it! Confluence is a nice small town with several great places to eat (Lucky Dog Cafe, River's Edge Cafe), a small supermarket/grocery store, easy access to the scenic GAP bike trail and a short drive to Deep Creek Lake, Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. Thank you for hosting us and making this a great vacation place for many wonderful memories! Looking forward to coming back again!

lovely time in Confluence

This is a nicely appointed space with extra large chef's kitchen and common areas. The bedrooms were very large and the bathrooms updated with walk in showers. You do need to be able to handle stairs to reach the unit. Great place to hang out next to the river with close access to the GAP rail trail and rafting adventures on the Yough.

Surprisingly spacious loft near Fallingwater

Everything was as advertised but I was happily surprised that it was even larger than I expected! Beds were comfortable with ample thoughtful touches such as soft blankets and sharp knives and a coffee grinder in the kitchen. There was nothing the host didn’t think of when stocking and outfitting this place. The river behind the property was beautiful even in early spring and it was well located for our visit to Fallingwater.

Beautifully renovated urban industrial loft overlooking the Casselman River!

As visitors to the 2024 Confluence Pumpkin Fest, we were seeking an upgraded rental for the weekend that was within walking distance to the Pumpkin Fest and within a short driving distance to other Laurel Highlands activities. The Casselman River Loft exceeded ALL expectations!!! Prior to renting, I left Kara a voice mail message that was returned within minutes. The online booking was easy and confirmation emails were sent and easy to understand. The loft is exactly as pictured online...the loft views of the river were amazing! Most appreciative to have this loft available and hope to rent again!
