Relaxing stay by the lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the back deck with a cup of coffee and fishing in the canal. We were fortunate to stay during the total solar eclipse, and our hosts even provided eclipse glasses! Would highly recommend staying here and would do so again.

Holiday Stay
The property is as good as advertised. Very clean, very easy check-in process, very responsive owner. We were there is the winter but would be even better in the summer when you can take advantage of the lake.

Great Stay
It was a great location and relaxing stay.... the host was wonderful and welcoming. They even had a gift for us when we arrived...it was very nice. The place was quiet and peaceful and had allll the amenities that made it a great place to stay! We are planning on visiting again!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Conneaut Lake. The owners were exceptionally prompt and gracious in responding to our inquiries. We found the home to be very comfortable and modern. It's in a convenient location with easy access to local shops and restaurants with plenty of outdoor activities on the lake or within a 20 minute drive. We highly recommend this property without any reservation.

Very clean and roomy, grill had back up tank , good, deck was used the most when not raining (no one’s fault). The master tub is a garden tub , not hot tub, walk to beach was short , you can walk to store, overall very nice

Family reunion

Fabulous home!
Our family spent a week over Thanksgiving at this house. Mario was so attentive and responsive. As a host, he made sure our family had everything needed to have a wonderful holiday and offered more if needed. The house was the perfect size for our family. The views of the lake at night with all the Christmas trees was spectacular. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to booking again in the summertime to enjoy the lake!

Nice and roomy with a large deck.
Girls getaway. Lots of comfy seating in the two living rooms and 2 full baths with nice fat towels. We had lots of rain so we didn’t get to use the beautiful deck with a Solo fire pit! We made the best of it and did our cooking inside with the very well equipped kitchen. The house has full size washer and dryer. The bed in master room was comfy but the other two rooms had bunk beds that were a little harder for our old bones. We took a nice drive around the lake. We found a brochure at the house for the Conneaut Winery and Distillery and we stopped in for a tasting. Delicious. There is a really nice pontoon boat directly in the backyard canal that would have been nice to use … maybe next time! We will consider renting the house again. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

This was a lovely getaway!
This house was so nice! Very clean and laid out perfectly-inside and out. The furniture is comfortable and so were the beds! I have stayed in many rentals and this house was better than we’d hoped. It is hard to find a dog friendly rental and as our golden is well traveled- she was also delighted. The baby was toddling around and there were no sharp corners or steep stairs to worry about. Mario, the host, was so easy to work with! As soon as we know my son’s bass tournament schedule for next year’s Conneaut Tournament, I will be renting this house again! And maybe before!

Very nice place. Would have been easier to fish if their wasn’t a pontoon boat parked there. We didn’t rent it and it’s not the owners so I didn’t think it would be blocking the fishing. Other than that it was nice.

Nice cozy place
Our family had a great 9 day stay. Used the kayaks and paddle boards. Renting the pontoon is a must. Great access to the lake. Fun swimming in the middle of the lake off the pontoon. Great outside deck. Nice neighbors. Fun relaxing time for us old folk. I was not ready to leave yet……could have enjoyed a couple of more days alone, just with hubby. Maybe next year!

Great Weekend!
We were there for a family wedding at the Conneaut Hotel, this property was awesome being that it was so close! We could walk or drive over. Mario was very attentive and answered all our questions immediately after we asked them! The house is great and very comfortable! It was also a great place for our dogs!

Great, but with a few issues...
Owner is great, the house is great, the toy shed add-on is great, ability to bring pets is great, yard is great, the deck is great, the closest neighbor is great. The farther away neighbor is not so great, neighborhood cats are not so great (especially if you bring pets), the view of the actual lake is non-existent in the summer when the trees have their leaves, the dock is there, but doesn't appear to be the sturdiest of structures and is in extremely shallow water. Still a nice peaceful place to stay.

The Conneaut Lake home was very nice and was perfect for our family outing with six adults and my grandson. The house had everything we needed except fish. The property had a nice yard and a dock for our pontoon and good access to the lake. If you come for water recreation, this place is great. The only downside to our week was the fishing was a disapointment.

This house is the perfect home for families. It had all the amenities, was clean and accommodated our entire family including an infant and pets. We really enjoyed the deck with the view of the lake and the early morning sunrise! Mario was the perfect host and easy to communicate with.

Perfect Holiday Getaway During COVID
As you will see in the other reviews, this place is spotless, well-maintained, and communication with Mario, the property manager, is superb, so I'll try to fill in some other areas of how great this place is: They are doing all sorts of upgrades. We were able to enjoy brand new kitchen appliances, large flatscreen SmartTV, porch-friendly firepit, and "toy shed" with all the firewood we needed (plus kayaks and paddle boards). Mario also mentioned that they just ordered new living room furniture so this place will just get better and better. Another "wow" factor for me was the giant bathtub - such a treat. We spent mornings in the sitting room watching the sun rise over the lake. A perk of being here around the holidays is that we could also see holidays lights out and around the lake. These are people who really put pride in their work. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies and the sort of staples you might easily forget or want on hand your first night/morning before you hit the grocery store (coffee, sugar, creamer, basic spices, olive oil, and snacks). Mario also provided really useful information about the area, including which areas we should consider/avoid depending on our level of comfort with COVID. We are more on the cautious side, so we were happy that there was a Dollar General right down the street with mask requirements and all the basics we needed. There's also a Wal-Mart just a few miles away - also with mask requirement. What I didn't see mentioned much in the other reviews is that there's an amazing old amusement park right down the street which is open to pedestrians even though it's not running right now. How often do you get to walk through an old amusement park? There's also gorgeous views at the Conneaut Hotel on the lake. We really enjoyed walking around and exploring this area. But if you come in the off-season, bring your rain gear! We spent our Thanksgiving in this home and I can't even begin to say how well-stocked this kitchen is. We made a huge meal and the only thing we brought from home was a skillet. They even have good knives, which you never get in rentals. Just makes packing so much easier. Our dogs also had a great time. Beware that there are a few neighborhood cats who roam about, so if your dog will give chase, keep an eye out. =) In summary, this was a wonderful home to get away from everything and enjoy some relaxation during cold weather and COVID. We would stay again. Thank you!!
