「The staff were very helpful. They had beautiful lavender hand and body wash in the bathroom which you can purchase. The bed was comfortable and a nice walk to the dam」

「Overall, it's a great motel with spacious rooms and a central location in town. However, room service could use some improvement, as the floors are not vacuumed. Additionally, the motel's entry and exit are at a busy roundabout, which can be somewhat hazardous.」

Great discussions and selection of wines. The room was very cosy and secure with everything we needed and the BBQ was great for what we needed. Indulged in a spa on site and again were impressed by the property. Would definitely go back. 」

「I had a lovely albeit short stay at Hawkdun Rise. Suzanne and John are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The interior could be slightly more modern for my personal taste but everything was very clean and well kept. And you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a space in which their guests can feel comfortable and welcome. Need to try their Gewürztraminer! 」
