Beautiful and authentic location surrounded by olive trees. The setting is truly charming and peaceful. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room — even after asking, we had to go downstairs to the reception each time to get hot water. Also, the mattress was a bit too authentic (an old, creaky bed with a worn-out mattress).
Lovely room, reasonable selection for breakfast although would have been a good idea to provide a teapot per table and/or find a way to keep water hot! Made a cold cup of tea twice! Pool area loungers looked like they needed some TLC but it was very end of season!
The old farm has become a lovely country hotel with a great pool, nice rooms, great breakfast. If you are travelling by car it is a great spot to enjoy some relax and travel from there to the many little towns around. Recommended!
Staff was ultra warm and welcoming, answering all our questions. We could not have asked for better treatment from all the staff, especially Anna, Joshua and Lucrezia!

A nice stay. The hotel is lovely but rooms in need of a refresh, especially the bathrooms. Nice staff. Food was very nice, eating outside was pleasant however if you do not like cats, it is not for you!
A great B&B stay if you are not into hotel type accommodations. You get personal hospitality with staff that are passionate about what they do. Breakfast was delicious with homemade tortes. Location is great if you have a car. About a 10 minutes drive to conversano old town. Would definitely recommend.
This property is a little out of the way, but worth the drive. It is a beautiful place that I wish we were staying longer. If you have mobility issues there is no elevator and steps to most of the rooms
It is a stunning hotel with a deep history and an unforgettable experience. The charm and character of the historic structure have been beautifully preserved, enhanced by elegant, tasteful decor that exudes warmth and sophistication. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. Every detail, from the furnishings to the ambiance, reflected a commitment to excellence. It’s the perfect escape for anyone seeking tranquillity, authenticity, and luxury. Highly recommended!
Relaxing property. Staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast needs hot options. Requested eggs, were told ran out. We were first downstairs for breakfast.
What can I say from this amazing place? I absolutely loved it. Ana made us feel so welcomed and loved! She made my first time in Italy a wonderful experience!
We will come back for sure!
Lovely place for a relaxing vacation and super close to the wonderful Polignano a mare are, if you have a car.

Amazing place in a beautiful setting. Our car sat nav didn’t recognise the address so a little difficult to find. It’s incredibly well sign posted if you know to look just for Montepaolo. Locals are super friendly to get advice!
The place itself is beautiful, wish we’d planned to stay longer.
The masseria was charming and isolated, but it lacked an elevator and twin bed options. The toilet facilities appeared a bit dated. On the positive side, they served a delightful breakfast.
The grounds and pool are beautiful. It is conveniently located to reach key sites in Valle D’Itria like Polignano a Mare and Alberobello. The room as a decent size and the bed was comfortable. They offer a nice continental breakfast with great cappuccino as well. We ate dinner as well which we really enjoyed. The service overall was perfect.
Some things to consider when staying here:
Some rooms (our room) are up a couple of flights of stairs. The shower water availability, pressure, and temperature was variable. We always ended with hot shower, it just takes a bit of patience
The roads to arrive at the Masseria are narrow and do not fit two way traffic, you need to watch for oncoming cars and pull aside when needed
The property hosts local events such as birthday parties for groups, so you will hear music playing in the distance (away from the rooms) until about midnight on certain nights

I did not like the room, nor the premises, garden with mud ,small bathroom , very small bed for my daughter. Awfull location . Finally they said they would call a cab as per our request , but they did not do , anyone knew of our request at the reception , my daughter almost missed her flight
Amazing beautiful property. 16th Century hunting lodge restored as an Inn on an olive orchard. Room was gorgeous. We stayed in a “Superior Room” built originally for guards, disconnected from the main building. Built majestically of stone, with tall arching ceilings, and with a private rooftop of breathtaking views I recommend this. Dinner and breakfast were both wonderful. Staff was great. I give it the maximum of stars. It is a historic property, restored to its original grandeur. It is surrounded by olive groves and fig trees, with lovely walking paths. The pool was perfect.
This would be perfect for a romantic getaway. Weddings or family travel. The dinner was equal to the best we had anywhere in Italy. That says a lot. And it is near the coast for an easy drive to Polignano a Mar. and very close to Conversano.
