The room was quiet and cool and was comfortable without using the aircon. The office was unmanned - the key is left in a lock box. A pool would have been good as it is hot and dry outside. The public (school) pool only opened for the season on our second day there.

Well located and secure motel in Coober Pedy that was great for our one night stay. Kitchenette was great enabling us to do our own breakfast. Relatively expensive compared to other options in Coober Pedy.

The room was clean but the toilet was broken and needed putting back together, I’ve been here before and it’s showing its age now. I didn’t receive a text message with a code for my room key, but luckily another traveller had a code and retrieved my key. I rang the after hours number on the morning I left and was told the other person should not have accessed my key for me, maybe send the message like they are supposed to and it wouldn’t be an issue. There are better places to stay in Coober Pedy.

Stay was great as usual. Room very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Love staying at Mud Hut as it is easy to find, has no steps, and parking is directly outside the room. As we have mobility issues, this is a big plus for us.
