The apartment is very nice, clean, and in a good location. It is exactly like the luxury photos and description. The host is also super friendly and helpful.

The apartment was exactly as described and the pictures provided accurately showed all the rooms and the balcony. The location was perfect for us; easy walk to everything in town that we wanted but also easy to get out of town when we wanted to drive somewhere. The apartment was fully equipped with fully stocked kitchen and also included dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. The host communicated quickly and was friendly and easy to work with. We were able to find street parking easily (early May). In the busier season, parking might be more difficult. The host also provided a few welcome snacks which was a fun surprise that we did not expect and coordinated with us in the middle of our stay to provide housekeeping at a convenient time which we also did not expect. All in all, we had a great experience! There were even a few beach mats and beach blankets provided.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation clean, comfortable and in a good location. Unfortunately, on our final day there was a major water outage affecting Corfu Town ( we were later told by a local that this is quite a regular occurrence in the area). We completely understand that this was beyond the property’s control and do not hold them responsible for the outage itself. However, we had specifically booked and paid for an additional night so that we could use the room, shower and bathroom facilities before our late night flight. With no running water for the whole day, we were unable to take a shower, flush the toilet, wash our hands, use the washing machine or dishwasher or cook a meal. We were disappointed that no updates, bottled water or other assistance were offered during the disruption. We did manage to use the washing machine on our first day there before the water outage and needed to use the tumble dryer as the clothing rack was not adequate. The tumble dryer kept cutting out so couldn't use this. After returning home, we contacted the property to ask whether they would consider a goodwill gesture or partial refund in light of the circumstances. They declined, explaining that the outage affected the whole town. We appreciate that the situation was difficult for everyone but we felt that a little more communication or support during the outage, or some goodwill afterwards, would have made a big difference to our overall experience.
