The Yannis beach houses consist of 3 separate holiday homes, object no. 2803866 (FeWo-direkt), object no. 2875499 (FeWo-direkt) and object no. 2804844 (FeWo-direkt) and a small apartment Object no. 2879715 (apartment-direct), on a large plot, right on the wide sandy beach of Agios Gordios and is ideal for those who want a casual beach holiday in the immediate vicinity of the sea.
The cottages are located on the northern edge of the bay, in a quiet location, DIRECTLY on the beautiful sandy beach of Agios Gordios, on a 8.000 sqm plot with Mediterranean plants. Inside the property there is plenty of open space for the guests, sunbathing area, garden furniture, outdoor shower and barbecue area. This absolutely quiet location guarantees relaxation and pure relaxation!
The equipment of the cottages is kept simple.
There are only a few private vacation rentals in this area, not hotels. Supermarkets, restaurants, taverns, and various leisure activities are within walking distance. A rental vehicle is therefore not essential.
Apartment cleaning, towel and linen change twice a week.

Schöne Lage mit kurzem Weg zum Strand. Die Wohnung (Studiio) war sehr klein und einfach eingerichtet.Das Bad war sehr klein. Man konnte sich kaum auf die Toilette setzen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen.

Perfekte Lage, funktionelle Einrichtung.

Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, im Garten geschützt hinter einem sehr gemütlichen Restaurant/Bar. Trotzdem ist der Strand in Sichtweite und nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Die Wohnung ist zwar eher einfach aber funktionell eingerichtet. Die Betten könnten bequemer sein, aber das macht die Lage und das sehr nette Personal wieder wett. Klare Empfehlung.

Günstig und nahe am Meer

Wir wollten eine preiswerte Unterkunft direkt am Strand und waren insgesamt ganz zufrieden. Allerdings waren unsere Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt. Es waren wohl mehrere Wohnungen in der Anzeige zusammengefasst, und wir waren am Ende eine Reihe weiter vom Strand entfernt als gedacht. Ausserdem gab es nicht wie auf den Fotos deutlich sichtbar ein Doppelbett, sondern nur Einzelbetten. Als Pärchen natürlich ein Showstopper. Die Leute vor Ort waren zwar nett und für das was wir gezahlt haben war es auch ok, allerdings hätten wir uns wohl anders entschieden, wenn wir vorher die richtigen Informationen gehabt hätten.

Good base and location

A very basic accommodation, which is what we expected. The pics on the websites are of all the different properties, so it’s hard to see which one you’re in. This was the studio apartment. Lovely big patio which looked at the back of the alobar (great place for drinks and food) and had an outdoor shower, which was handy for washing off your feet from the beach. Not a problem with noise from the bar. The location is very quiet and you can actually hear the sea (15 second walk to beach!). Pretty views of the fruit trees towards the mountains from the terrace. It could do with a thick curtain for more privacy on the patio doors, as when the light’s on, everyone can see through the voile curtains. There’s a separate little room with a single bed and a little kitchenette area. A small wardrobe and extra blankets/pillows if needed. Mr Yannis wanders around the garden and the cleaning lady was very friendly. Due to covid restrictions, she wasn’t allowed to enter but left towels outside for us as required. Bathroom is the tiniest I’ve ever seen but this is typical basic and rustic Greek accomm, so don’t expect anything luxurious. It’s in dire need of refurbishment I feel and could be a lovely little place if done up but served its purpose for our visit and at a reasonable price. Plenty of hot water (tiny shower) and WiFi works. You have to walk along the beach boardwalk when you arrive for about 100m and it’s directly behind alobar, so easy to find. Parking is near impossible nearby. We had to park a good 10 min walk away up behind the main road into the village. Great tavernas to eat/drink at and a few supermarkets in the village. The beach is very stony here, so hard to get in/out of the sea but walk a way up the beach and it gets better. The air con sounds like a jet engine, so is extremely noisy if sitting outside. Plus if people are staying in the attached apartment, there’s a racket from their air con too. However, it didn’t seem to stop me sleeping and I’m a very light sleeper! The beds are very hard but that’s a personal preference and these are 2 single beds that can’t be pushed together without leaving a gap. Would recommend as a basic accomm/base for the village and we had a lovely time here.

Angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei guter Lage

Fazit: bei gutem Wetter ist man draußen gut und schön aufgehoben und kann hier eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Alle Leute rundrum sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Details: Das ebenerdige Appartement teilt sich ein kleines Ferienhaus mit einem größeren Appartement, zu unserer Anwesenheit unbewohnt. Highlight ist die sehr schöne, große und teilweise überdachte, in einen wunderschön gepflegten Garten eingebettete Terrasse. Sie liegt sehr ruhig direkt hinter der Alobar, von der man aber nichts mitbekommt. Zum Meer führt ein ca. 15-20 m langer Gang (das Bild gehört zu einem anderen Appartement), die Strandliegen der Alobar hätten wir kostenfrei nutzen dürfen. Der runde Terrassentisch ist für 3 Personen viel zu klein. Auf dem großen Gelände liegen verstreut weitere Häuschen, überall stehen tragbare Liegen. Der (seitliche) Eingang führt in die kleine Küche, dort geht es in ein sehr kleines Bad und in das geräumige Schlafzimmer. Von dort gelangt man in gerader Linie in ein zusätzliches kleines Zimmer mit einem Bett und einem großen Tisch, ohne Schrank, mit (von uns nicht genutzter) Tür in den Garten. Die Küche ist gerade ausreichend für 3 Personen eingerichtet, grösseres Kochen ist mangels Platz schwierig (keine Ablage außer Abtropfbereich des Waschbeckens). Der Kühlschrank mit Eisfach ist geräumig. Wasser wurde dort nur lauwarm. Kein Fenster, jedoch gut ausgeleuchtet. Außer Müllbeutel ist nichts da (kein Salz, Zucker, ...). Das Bad hat ein Fenster. Duschkopf und Warmwasser sind prima, die 2-Hand Armaturen für Waschbecken und Dusche schließen nicht mehr vollständig. Die kleine Sitzduschwanne mit hohem Rand hat zwei Ebenen. Die Grundsauberkeit im Bad ist (altersbedingt) noch akzeptabel. Trennung zur Küche durch eine Schiebetür. Das Schlafzimmer hat eine Flügeltüre zur Terrasse, zwei Einzelbetten (zusammengeschoben ergibt sich leider eine große, ca. 10-15 cm große Ritze) und einen Einbau-Kleiderschrank mit begrenzten Möglichkeiten. Vielleicht gerade ausreichend für 2 Personen mit wenig Gepäck. Auf den sehr harten (oder vielleicht auch durchgelegenen?) Matratzen hatten wir nach ein paar Tagen Hüftprobleme. Die Öffnung zur Küche ist nicht verschließbar, der Kühlschrank gurgelt nachts vernehmbar ... Zugang vom Ende der Straße erfolgt über einen hölzernen Strandsteg, ca. 100 m. Nahe Parkmöglichkeiten sind dort sehr eingeschränkt, man lernt schnell, griechisch kreativ zu parken. Im Ort gibt es ein paar kleine "Super"märkte mit allem, was man braucht.
