Wonderful stay in corfu at mateo stone. The villa is beautifully looked after by the owner. Inside its modern, comfortable and has all the things to make your stay easy, we cooked at lot and used the outside bbq a few times. Pool was a perfect size for our family of four, two big teenagers and two adults and we enjoyed it. Met the owner a couple of times as he popped over to make sure everything outside was clean and working well. Lovely chap and was nice to meet him. Location is quiet with a few villas close by, but felt secluded and private.Highly recommend for a family that want a great base to go explore corfu.

Stunning villa

A lovely clean and comfortable villa both inside and outside. Online description is 100% correct. The villa is positioned to take full advantage of the sun all day and there is plenty of seating and sunbeds. Owner visits 7am and 7pm to clean pool and work on outside garden but is discreet. There are sufficient supermarkets nearby and local tavernas. We drove up the hill to the nearest as it was still extremely hot at 9pm. My only negative point is location. I usually visited and stayed in the Roda area and I find Dassia and Ipsos not to my likening. The villa is like an oasis in a rural location so a car is essential.

Die Villa ist traumhaft! Sie bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Kleine Alterserscheinungen wie eine defekte Toilettenspülung wurden umgehend behoben – ein großes Plus für den schnellen Service.Besonders angenehm war, dass wir uns um nichts kümmern mussten – weder um Gartenarbeit noch um die Poolpflege. Der Besitzer hat sich zuverlässig darum gekümmert, sodass Außenbereich und Pool stets in einem top Zustand waren.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Arbeiten im Garten und am Pool fanden häufig genau während unserer Frühstücks- oder Abendessenszeiten statt. Für einen noch ungestörteren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass diese Tätigkeiten eher früh am Morgen oder später am Abend erfolgen.Insgesamt aber eine rundum gelungene Auszeit in einer tollen Unterkunft!
