Das Nobilis Corfu Hotel (ehemals Ionian Princess) wurde kürzlich renoviert. Das Facelift ist großteils gelungen, jedoch wurde teils handwerklich sehr unsauber gearbeitet. Manche Details, wie fehlende Leisten oder offene Steckdosen, trüben den hochwertigen Eindruck. Zudem sind die Arbeiten noch nicht abgeschlossen, was gelegentlich zu Baulärm führt.
Die Zimmer sind ansprechend und ausreichend groß, jedoch sehr hellhörig. Die Wassertemperatur in der Dusche schwankt teils extrem.
Die Sauberkeit ist insgesamt akzeptabel, bei Ankunft aber verbesserungswürdig; Servicebereiche, wie die Poolbar, werden teils unzureichend gereinigt.
Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, mit Ausnahme des teils überlasteten Reinigungspersonals; die Poolbar ist unterbesetzt und oft unordentlich.
Der Außenbereich ist gepflegt, mit vielen Liegen und Lounge-Möbeln. Der Hauptpool ist oft überfüllt mit Kindern. Musik läuft abwechslungsreich.
Kulinarisch überzeugt das Hotel mit guter, abwechslungsreicher Küche, auch vegetarisch, besonders die Pizzen sind hervorragend; das Dessertbuffet schwächelt.
Die Lage ist ideal – nur 100m zum Meer und 150m zur Hauptstraße mit Geschäften und Restaurants.
Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, bei dem die meisten Mängel im Detail liegen und gut behebbar wären.
