Villa Thea Estate is a former olive press made up of two separate houses and has been turned into a splendid holiday home. It nestles outside the centre of lively Kassiopi, on the top of the surrounding hills, and offers the most spectacular views of the sea and the steep mountain peaks across Albania, Corfu Channel, the Diapontia Islands, and the vast Adriatic.
Set in a privately owned olive grove, this unusually charming estate offers exceptional courtyards with unsurpassed views, a private sunny pool (13 X 6 m), and all the amenities for sunbathing or relaxing away from it all.
Villa Thea Estate can comfortably accommodate families or groups of eight people in 4 air-conditioned bedrooms.
Layout
Drive uphill through the village area to private gate with a large paved courtyard, at the front of the first of the two houses. A few steps land on the main entrance with a small balcony, which opens onto a space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a utility room.
At the back of this space is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower, a family WC and a master bedroom, also with a second en-suite.
The front balcony is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers stunning views of the sparkling sea below and the Albanian mountain range in the distance.
A utility area houses an old olive press and connects the first with the second house, which is accessed via another small staircase and a stone-paved balcony.
The entrance opens onto a modern fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room, with a family shower / WC.
Two steps higher is a twin bedroom, leading onto the front balcony.
A marble staircase located to the rear leads onto a further lower level with a double bedroom, boasting a modern vanity unit next to the bed, and a WC with an adjoining shower room. The bedroom door opens out to a stone-paved backyard, with isolated sitting facilities.
Pool and Terraces
The most attractive part of the villa is the front courtyard with the oval-shaped pool (13 X 6 m), which offers incredible views of the sea, distant Albania, and the Corfu Channel.
An outdoor shower has been fitted on the left of the pool, with an adjacent shaded sitting area for extra comfort.
On the other side of the courtyard, there is an additional roofed stone construction, which houses a built-in Barbeque with a stone workbench and a wooden dining table for 8 people.
