40 Euro parking penalty: unpleasant accommodation
This is a very unpleasant accommodation experience. We are foreign tourists who drive to the hotel. There is a parking space at the entrance of the hotel, but it has been parked. The attitude of the hotel counter staff is not very good. she told us that she has no way to handle the parking problem, we maybe could park until am 8:30 in the morning and start charging 2 euros per hour after. Although we are not very happy that the hotel did not handle it, we still told the counter staff that we would park on the street. The next morning at 9:03 am we went to pick up the car. I did not see a two-euro parking ticket, but """"a fine of 40 euros""". I took the ticket and asked the same counter person. (She told me that she had never seen me before!!!! >

Our family of 3 stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel was comfortable and made us feel like we were experiencing a little bit of authentic Ireland. The onsite pub had some VERY good fish and chips. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only disappointment came from some cultural confusion. The amenities list indicates "laundry facilities" and apparently that means "laundry service" at this hotel. They were helpful in pointing us to a nearby laundromat, but being out at night in the rain doing laundry was a bummer when were were expecting to be able to do it at the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Service was impeccable but the hotel and facilities are tired. No hot water in the bedroom not leisure centre showers. Limited bar selection as some choices were out of stock. Food was expensive for what it was. Great location but needs a little investment.

Very disappointing experience we booked in on new years eve, had problems firstly trying to get parking it took an hour to park appauling that we weren't informed about the overflow parking until we were rudely asked to move by a staff member while parked outside the door of hotel as we were discussing options after driving around hotel car park and street parking for hour, secondly the following morning we paid 32 euro for '' breakfast'' for two if you could even call it that, the eggs were disgrace they were inedible, the bacon was like beef jerky if was so dehydrated nearly chipped an tooth on it the beans were dried into the container they were in,, all the food was removed within 10 minutes of sitting down, when we complained about the poor quality of the breakfast manager didn't seem phased and brushed if off, 32 euro flushed down drain went to local petrol station to get deli breakfast on way home 100% better food, stevie wonder must have been preparing food that morning in maldron. Service for dinner the previous night also extremely slow we got the menus and still nobody returned to take our order 20 mins later we had to go the the bar to get the waitress so we could order our food Would not return again usuallly book 2or 3 times a year big disappointment

Parking was limited, only 1 bar/dining room and after food arrived never saw server again had to ask bartender for our bill. Room had no AC and window only opened an inch so it was 40F outside and 80F in our room. Also had doors slamming and people running up and down the hallway laughing and talking until 5am. When I talked to front desk at check out they could care less and didnt offer any discounts for inconvenience. Manager overheard conversation and didn't approach me to discuss either and then at breakfast we overheard him telling another worker that the 4th floor had a busy night and they laughed about it.

Staff were exceptional and so helpful. We left an item in our room when we checked out and the accommodation manager went to great lengths to locate it & ensure it was returned to us. It’s a beautiful hotel and so convenient to Cork city. We will definitely stay again. The parking situation is unfortunate but the hotel’s solution is very good.

The bedroom and main parts of the hotel were very good, the spa area was a bit dated and untidy. The gym was reasonable and had a good range of machines, albeit a little tired looking. Overall a good stay, however parking was tight and very limited.

Nice, affordable, and conveniently located hotel
This hotel is in a really great spot in Cork. It is very short walking distance to a few great pubs, coffee shops, bodegas, but it also only about a 10-15 minute walk from the main areas of Cork. Hotel staff were friendly and informative. The hotel actually has a touch screen in the lobby that tells you what is going on at various establishments (museums, theaters, pubs) for each day of the week, and also how far and how to get to each place. Parking is admittedly slim, but if you’re on foot it’s not a concern. I would refer to reviews where parking recommendations are made, if you plan on driving. The gym facilities are also very nice.

We spent two nights here. Everything in Cork was fully booked so we had no choice. The first night in our first room, there were ants in our room, even on the pillows. The hotel could do nothing, no rooms for us and also didn’t offer to even clean. We had to ask and demand it. The second day, the moved us to a new room. We arrived around 10-11pm, exhausted. The room was fine and acceptable until trying to shower. The water was brown coming out of the bathtub. We couldn’t use any plumbing at all the second night.

Really lovely hotel - nice and clean - only issue is parking. Very limited parking on site - we were told they had a deal with a car park nearby which we thought meant it was free but we had to pay €15.

不滿:整潔度和住宿狀況
Parking was extremely limited and tight. Hallway rug was stained. Room was clean but tired. 2:30 am a fight and screaming match lasting for 30 minutes erupted during our stay three doors down. Never again.
