“If you want a clean room on a budget with a fridge, a microwave and a TV and an AC unit you can run all night without it kicking off and on then this is a great spot. The rooms have harsh white lighting, the mattress is firm, the bedspread and blanket are thin and the cheap foam pillows made me glad I brought mine from home but for the price I couldn’t complain much. I’ll be staying there from now on.”

“When we got there, the trash bin was dirty and there was a tea bag in the coffee maker. Looks disgusting! ”

“The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast before hitting the road. However, the hallways were very noisy, and the walls were very thin. We were kept awake for several hours by a person talking on their cell phone. We thought that the person was outside in the new lounge area, but we soon realized he was simply in his room having a conversation on speakerphone with family. Because the walls were so thin, we could hear virtually everything being said.”

“Clean room, we loved the jetted bathtub in the king suite. Mathew at the front desk was really nice upon arrival and check in.”

“Staff was fabulous. I had booked the hotel for the wrong dates and the manager was extremely understanding. He immediately resolved the issue and refunded me even though I was outside of the cancellation parameters.”

“The hotel was small, the breakfast was okay but was extremely limited. Really my only complaint was that I got what they considered a “deluxe room” that was supposed to come with a bigger tv and nice shower with multiple shower head settings but when we got there the shower would not change from the basic shower head setting. Other than that pretty cute and quaint hotel”

“First and foremost - the hotel does NOT have an elevator. If you can't take the stairs for any reason, you are out of luck. It's the first floor or nothing. I was very surprised at this. We got lucky that there were rooms available on the first floor. Maintenance is very clearly optional here. The rooms are passable, but there is no ventilation, so the room runs hot and cold when the AC is on or not. The bathroom is woefully small and there is no ventilation, so you should bring some……

“Great place to stay”

“The location was so convenient for our stay to visit Hocking Hills! The welcome center and pencil sharpener museum were right across the highway, and 4 restaurants were within very easy walking distance. Walmart is less than a mile away as well as ice cream, mini-golf, a petting zoo and a great coffee stop. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast choices were plentiful, the hotel was clean, the pool was clean, and the kids loved getting complimentary cookies and……

“The hotel is very clean and quiet. Breakfast is okay. The room to include the bedding is good quality. Room is typical square footage. Parking is adequate. The hotel is nothing remarkable! I was there with 3 grandchildren, the heated pool was (extremely) cold our first evening. They did turn it up 4 degrees, but pools take a long time to heat up. The temperature was okay the 2nd evening. Not sure why they refer to establishment as a boutique hotel! It’s just a (good) 3 star hotel. The ice……
