Room needs more improvement, specially the bathroom,shower was slow. Staff was great, breakfast needs more option and property was nice and friendly.. I would recommend the property to my friends and family.

The resort is in an amazing location, it is being developed by the new owners to a high standard. Our room was a newly built villa which is a very good size, clean and very comfortable. All of the staff are welcoming and are from the local village. The food was delicious and included local foods. The guided dives were excellent and safe Matt, Wally and Frank are extremely knowledgeable and experienced about the dive sites. We will be booking again

I absolutely adore and enjoy this island. It was a private, beautiful, gorgeous property freshly cooked food breakfast lunch, and dinner. You can go scuba diving on different spots, snorkeling, island hopping.

The resort is set on a small island away from the loud town. The staff was beyond amazing, as well as the food. What I enjoyed most was the diving opportunities and the chance to sit down with other divers and the instructor and enjoy great conversation about the area and diving. Much better than being in the nearby town and only getting the dive experience. We loved every minute of our stay. It's perfect for those thinking about diving as well as the experienced diver. 10/10

careful of the sugar/black ants, unavoidable but definitely no open food in the room and will be fine, they don't bite at least. other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent.

An Island all to yourself!, or it certainly feels

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort. A wonderful surprise awaited us at our checkin, both breakfast and supper were included in the price of our room. (Im not sure if that was mentioned in the write-up about this resort) And the food was great. Our room was clean and comfy although the wifi at the room was sketchy at best. It was good in the common area. The staff, led by Matt, were the best and did everything to accommodate us.

Relaxing, great diving, tasty meals

Chindonan is located in a remote place and I had no problem getting there after being picked up at the port from the ferry - 45 minute speedboat ride. I came here for the diving and it did not disappoint. The food at the restaurant was tasty and offered a variety, including for vegetarians. All units require many steps to get there so it’s not for those who don’t want or cannot walk distances and stairs.

There was nothing liked . The staff was just so so. Rooms where just ok. No hot water. They served no lunch. No menu for dinner. You had to eat what they decided to cook. And it was served at 7.30 pm. No matter how hungry you might be. Then at end of stay the hit you with extra charges. The place is a total rip off.

Paradise island became hostage island

When we discover the bill, we were not agree to pay the tranfert (very expensive 4500 pesos) because it had to be free (as mentionned in hotel.com). The owner became suddenly an other man, agressiv, violent and we felt like Hostages in a crook island. Be careful, a dangerous man. We refused to.pay and finaly he accepted. Atmosphere was creepy. This doesn't concern philipinos who were friendly. Avoid this island

The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views.

En fait s'il n'y avait pas eu le problème des nuisances sonores et visuelles du à la construction de nouvelles villas et d'une piscine j'aurais jugé notre séjour excellent. La partie où il y avait les paillottes et transats n'existe plus,elle est remplacée par le chantier de la piscine! C'est vraiment dommage de ne pas avoir été prévenus. Sans le problème des travaux,le rapport qualité prix est très bon,notre chambre deluxe était parfaite. Le personnel est souriant et serviable. Le snorkeling devant l'hôtel superbe.Nous avons utilisé les kayaks pour rejoindre la petite île en face et deux autres situées à gauche de l'hôtel. Un grand merci à Franck le dive master français qui s'est chargé d'organiser nos sorties snorkeling en bateau. Bref,cet hôtel aurait été et sera un excellent choix quand les travaux seront finis. Dommage pour nous mais là qualité du snorkeling à l'hôtel où lors des sorties en kayak ou bateau nous auront malgré tout laissé un bon souvenir. Expédia devrait mieux informer les clients de la présence de travaux.

Filippinernes ukendte perle.

Vi havde det skønneste ophold på Chindonan. Vi blev hentet på vores hotel i Coron by og sejlet med privat speedbåd ud til resortet. En kæmpe oplevelse i sig selv. Værelserne er store, moderne og rummelige, med den smukkeste havudsigt. Resortet har sit eget koralrevet lige ud for hotellet. Personalet er venlige og yderst imødekommende. Opholdet er inkl. morgen og aftensmad, der om aftenen består af en lækker buffet med både lokale og internationale retter. Professionelle dykkerinstruktører og dykkerudstyr i tip top stand. Selve resortet er ikke så stort, hvilket giver det en rigtig hyggelig familiær stemning. Dette sted gjorde vores ferie på Filippinerne til noget helt særligt, takket være de søde ejerne og et fantastisk personale.

Worst experience of my life

My experience at the hotel was very terrible and very bad. It was the worst experience of my life. The staff over there was totally not helpful. They charge for literally everything and there are so many hidden costs. They charge for snorkelling gear aswell and they even charge for towels And they don't tell about this at first only at the time of final billing they include all the charges. Dive instructor / Manager -Kenith (Denmark) is very bad and rude and he doesn't know how to behave with customers. He was not helpful and he was very rude and he doesn't know how to talk to ladies aswell I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone Don't go there at all You will have a very bad experience. Dive instructor Shawn from UK is really good and he was helpful and scuba diving with him was out of the world But other than that the experience was really really bad

We loved this resort! The views are fantastic! Each unit has a terrace for sitting and enjoying the views. They also have made several other places with comfortable chairs and hammocks to sit and enjoy the time. All sorts of water sports are available: kayaks, snorkeling, island hopping, and of course diving! We are not divers but we loved everything else. I went out snorkeling right in front of the resort, straight from our lounge chair. It was gorgeous. Everything we did was gorgeous! The staff is super nice and professional. The food was delicious. We loved it all. Jut a warning: my husband and I are in our 70s and this resort is geared towards a younger set. You have to hop on and off boats and there is a lot of climbing of stairs. But for us it was no problem. Just be warned that if you have mobility issues, this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, we are going back for sure!!

Ken, Sean, Johanas and thw diving crew were excellent. The resort is well positioned to access all the ship wrecks in the bsy. The local girls who operate the kitchen were fantastic. Evening buffet provided great meals and a variety of seafood, curries and fresh salads. I can highly recommend this resort for those divers who wish to be in the middle of the Coron Bay and direct access to the wrecks.

Quaint... this is a family owned and operated place that is very upscale hostel. A lot of work to keep the place up as it’s semi remote.. The operator has done a lot of work to make the place work. The food is quite good as the breakfast and dinners are included in the daily rate. Lunch is okay and not overly expensive... wonderful staff All of them. Good value

Nice beautiful Ressort on Chindonan Island, approx. 60min boat ride from Coron Harbor. The owner is a friendly dutch guy who runs the ressort for more than 12 years now. The staff is perfect and the food was simply amazing. You get breakfast and dinner included and they cook everything fresh. Also diving is great there and Shawn the dive instructor is doing a perfect job from DSD till instructor training. The rooms get renovated bit by bit so you can be lucky and get a new one or just the older ones which are a little worn, but nevertheless clean and equipped with everything you need. I would definitely come back!

Not kid friendly! Will not go back again!

Cons: The owner is very arrogant, rude and dislikes kids. He is present the entire time and watches every single move of yours very closely which made us felt uncomfortable. He constantly complained about the kids when he saw them in the common area.The room was without AC when requested for AC we were charged p800 per night. There was extra charge for bed per kid p2300 therefore our entire stay total cost was doubled not to our expectation. We only needed one bed but the owner said he would charges us for 2 regardless cus we had two kids. Worst of all! the running water for shower was worst, it was literally droplets of water for shower. Fyi; the owner’s dog is loose and all over the place in case you are afraid of dogs.Barely any internet to none. Basically not a kid friendly environment. Overall felt we were way overcharged! Pros: Great local ladies with very friendly and good customer service at front desk and kitchen. Daily breakfast and dinner was served freshly. The ladies went out of their way to help you. Island hoping and scuba diving lessons and instructors were good

Chindonan var himmel på jord. De ansatte var ekstremt behjelpelige og flinke. Det er mange ting å gjøre i nærområdet, som å snorkle i husrevet, leie en kajakk eller arrangere turer gjennom hotellet. Vi ønsket oss en avslappet tur uten for mye turister, og dette var perfekt for nettopp det. Vi hadde muligheten til å føle oss helt alene og oppdage nærområdet. Vi var der fire netter, men skulle gjerne hatt en uke til.
