"The property was absolutely beautiful. There are so many activities to choose from during your stay. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of local tours/excursions. My family and I spent hours enjoying the breathtaking view and refreshing sea breeze from our balcony daily. While we were all sad on our departure day, we were instantly discussing when to book a return trip. You will love it there."

"I hope that this place stays as spectacular as it is. The zenses is an exceptional find. I plan to stay there over and over again. While I build my home in Belize. I’ve told all my clients and friends about this place. The staff, including restaurant/bar staff were incredible and knowledgeable. I plan to stay at the zenses every time. It’s very clean. Super affordable. Accessible and comfortable. Love that place."

"My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and we loved the property. We stayed during low season and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful of any place I've ever stayed. Our casita was spotless and well appointed. It was nice coming back to the room each night to find the cookies that were left for us during the turndown services. The prices were very fair and the food was excellent. We didn't get a chance to eat in a couple of the restaurants because the property wasn't busy enough for the them to open. Which was fine, we understand that they're not going to open just for us. We met another couple in the pool on our first day and they said they thought the food on property was some of the best they had on the island. I would say it's as good as some of the best we had on the island for sure. Overall, we loved our stay and if we find ourselves back in San Pedro, we'll definitely be at Matachica."

"Initially I was off put with the hotel because I wanted to book a 2 bedroom suite when I initially booked a one bedroom suite. They wouldn’t cancel my room so I can rebook even though it was less than 24 hours. I felt like this was going to be a horrible hotel but I was completely wrong. This hotel was AMAZING! I honestly wanted to cry when it was time to go. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had room 1157 which was a one bedroom suite with an ocean view. Erick and Nathan were amazing and extremely helpful. Erick made this trip smooth and easy. He gave suggestions on what to do and where to go. He made sure I knew what time to be back to the water taxi for pick up and even wrote down notes. He went above and beyond. Nathan answered any and every question I had. He helped me when needed with the restaurants. Also, gave me a small tour od the hotel property going over all the amenities. They both made this trip one to remember"
