Lots of great places to walk your pet and plenty of bags available to clean up after your pet. Proximity to beach and vehicle beach access is awesome. Was a great place to kick back, relax, fish and hangout at the beach. Will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for our little vacation getaway. We loved the location, so close to the beach. The property was great, room was clean and all we needed. Our son loved that the pool was just around the corner. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Very nice place, great location

The property was clean, nicely decorated. The place was nicely furnished and comfortable. The location was excellent. We sat on the porch and could see the water and feel the salt air. It was perfect.

Great location

We had a great visit! We loved being able to hop back and forth from the condo to the beach so quickly and easily. The pool at this location is awesome as well. Internet was great, there’s a large TV, and comfy furniture. We’ll be back!

Excellent Stay

Highly recommend staying here. You can't get any closer to the beach. It's a short drive to go into Corpus if you need anything from stores or mall. Excellent restaurants nearby. Would stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. I didn’t realize it was directly beside the beach access road, which made the beach very crowded. I’d recommend walking (or driving) further down the beach because there were much fewer people there! The property was cute and pretty clean. (I’m a clean freak, I’ll admit!) 😉 Check in and out was a cinch!! I’d recommend to the owner/property manager to have a couple collapsible beach chairs and sand toys available for guests to use.

Just okay VRBO

First the positive: the property managers had phenomenal communication and check in/check out. However the unit itself (1 bed 1 bath) was run down. For example kitchen stools broken, window shades broken, bath tub paint peeling, stained with orange mildew. These are only a few examples - the entire unit had these types of problems. The property is also a bit run down, for example cigarette butts constantly on our little porch (we don’t smoke so this was new trash added daily) I think the property needs an outside custodial staff with the property being busy.

Nice Island Getaway

Perfect spot

Perfect location right on the beach. Right next beach access road too. Clean and neat. On site staff was very friendly and helpful. Heated swimming pool. Reasonably priced compared to other rentals nearby. We'll be coming back!

depressing

first the a/c did not cool in bedroom, second there was a leak in the wall next to window that dripping into the room all night long, the bathtub had hair in it and the floors did not get sweep or mopped before we got in. Sad very sad I own my company and would never allow this.

Property was in perfect location and condo was good. Easy beach access & nice pool

Condo was NOT ready when I arrived at 4 pm and there was some confusion with the front desk. Lots of noise late and no on sight help. Don’t understand why I only get 2 bath towels for a 4 night stay ... really? Bed needs either a topper or a new mattress . Pillows had pillow covers but not pillow cases ... strange ! There is a significant leak in the top right corner of the bedroom window ... started late and soaked up an entire towel ... looks like coffee Colored water.... cleaned up what I could .. TV in living space does not have full access to channels that were available in bedroom tv .. no instructions.. Loved the pool and location .. great access to beach And over good experience ... Kitchen was well equipped .. would stay at this property again ... but maybe try a different unit

Excellent shape for an older property

Very nice complex. Pool was a bit smaller than pictures made it seem, but very nice. Right on the beach, but we still drove so we could set up our own shade. Then we walked back to room for lunch. Landscaping was well maintained. We will be back.

Great condo right on the beach

Amazing long weekend getaway. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach is steps away. If you have alot of stuff though, there is not a ramp to get from the seawall, but there are two sets of stairs. The beach is very clean, and the pool was open, with moderate social distancing restrictions for the number of people allowed. 1st floor does have a view of the beach, but there are some dunes. I took my chair down to the seawall to watch the sunrise. It was perfect.

Overpaid with VRBO

Should have rented directly from Padre Escapes. Overpaid renting through VRBO. Building under construction. Water off daily. No notice from VRBO. Clean. Good location. Old condo. New ones for less in area. Left early.
