I stayed at the Extended Stay America in Corpus Christi, and it was far from an ideal place to stay. If I had arrived in Corpus Christi earlier, I would have chosen a different hotel. Upon check-in, there was no one at the front desk to assist us, so I had to call a number to get help. When I entered my hotel room, the carpet was dirty, and there was a distinct unpleasant smell. The next day, our key cards for the door stopped working. Once again, I went to the front desk, but no one was there to assist. I called the number for help, but nobody answered. I ended up waiting about 10 to 15 minutes until someone finally arrived to provide a new set of door keys. As for the breakfast, it was quite disappointing. It consisted of oatmeal, packet muffins, and coffee, but the coffee meant for the oatmeal wasn't even hot.

First off the room was filthy the bed was stained and there was bugs my girl got bit by some bugs on her chest and every time I asked to speak to the manger about it several diffent lady's told me he should be here around 10 or 11 and I waited for both times he never showed. And as we were checking out we notice the tables were sticky and we never ate anything sitcky like come on bro. And when the lady called him as I told her what was going on she said he was out for the holidays and won't be back till Monday but yet this lady kept every major thing I told her and made it seem like it wasn't a big of a deal and not to mention we woke up to the fire alarm going off in are room. I now know I will never want this to happen to anyone else. So pls do not let them ever give y'all room 122. And don't ever stay here. Ty and have a good rest of ur Valentine's.

No breakfast. Carpet in rooms very dirty, old towels that looked like they were dirty, toilet had to flush ar least 3 times. No ice machine, no TV service was down. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Check in and staff were fine and friendly. No issues. The low score comes from the property appearance and the condition of the room. I do not blame staff. These are long-term issues that could only come from poor management and a lack of investment in the property from corporate leadership. The entire property is in need of major refurbishment. My room had a severe german roach infestation in the bathroom and large cracks they would come in and out of when the lights were on or off. Stains on all fabric in sight, room smelled of mildew, the room entrance door was hung improperly and you could actually see the hallway through the door hinges even when the door was closed and locked. The peep hole was so large you could easily so through it on both sides. Combined it was a concerning safety concerns. Sheets were worn and thin, outdated stained furniture. To be clear, we did not notify staff of the issues and give them a chance to remedy the situation. We used extreme measures to protect ourselves and stayed out of the room as much as possible during our stay.

The room was clean, but had a stale odor. Maybe the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. We boulght some air freshener and it helped. Staff was helpful but not very friendly. No hellos or goodbys as we were coming and going. Great value!

Walked in the lobby and it smelled like smoke the floors were dirty like it had not been mopped or swept, and I also used the restroom it looked like it had not been cleaned either. I decided not to stay I have a 5 month old and did not feel safe staying. I was charged a one night fee like if I stayed in a room I had two rooms booked and was charged $158 as if it was my fault I didn’t cancel in time if they kept up with the cleanliness and smoke odor I would have stayed.
