Great family retreat

This was the perfect place for our family of 7. Plenty of space for everyone and easy access to the beach. The house is very well kept and the management company was very pleasant to work with.

Great beach house!

Great house right next to the beach. Has all the room you would need for a get together. Super close to restaurants and bars. Communication with the property management was excellent and the small issue we had was rectified that day. Will definitely book again.

Our family had a blast here. Great house as advertised. Pretty sure the past complaints are not of actual issues with the property as it was very clean and comfortable for everyone

Great and affordable!

We had a great time staying here and love that we were able to bring our pups with us! The upstairs bed was wonderful and firm, which is sometimes hard to find in rentals. I do recommend bringing coffee filters (8-10 cup basket style) and coffee if you drink it regularly.

Pre Thanksgiving vacation.

The home was clean and welcoming. Love the lack of too many chores to close out. Proximity to the beach was fantastic! Our pets were easy to take care of in the rental. Beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Communication was top notch.

Great place!

This place is in a great location with a boardwalk to the beach! It actually has two master suites one of which is upstairs by itself. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything and plenty of parking. You also have access to beach toys and boards and a grill. My family was very happy with it! I’d rent it again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made good use of the flat driveway and open space under the house. The decks off of the back and front are a pleasant place to spend time. The kitchen was well supplied. Beds comfortable. The windows were not clean but we understand there were water use restrictions in place. The house has a casual cottage feel to it.

Nice beach house for family vacation

Overall an enjoyable stay. Location is good, a bit further from town, but still close to the beach. Nicely equipped kitchen to prepare meals. Only issue was water pressure, two people showering at the same time is a no-go. The dryer didn’t work either. Both issues were forwarded to maintenance and will hopefully be resolved before the next renters.

Family beach weekend.

Enjoyed the family time together! House size was adequate but, it could use a good cleaning and updating. The floors were pretty dirty and had an ant issue, as well as a couple of cockroach’s. Many window coverings were stained and the grass was very long. For the price, it should have at least had clean floors.

The small beach view from the upper floor is okay; otherwise, it’s looking at the dunes from the balcony. But don’t rely on the very long boardwalk with many stairs to the beach if you want to carry anything. Get a golf cart or drive your car to the beach via the access road just outside the neighborhood. Port A Escapes was very responsive when needed to solve a minor issue.

While we enjoyed our time in Port Aransas overall, there were a few aspects of the rental that left us disappointed.Location: The location was great—close to the beach and convenient to restaurants and shops. It made getting around town easy and enjoyable.Cleanliness & Condition: Unfortunately, the home was not as clean as we expected upon arrival. Some areas clearly needed more attention, and the property itself could use some refreshing and updates to feel more welcoming and comfortable.Staff & Service: The management team was responsive and courteous, which we appreciated. However, we hope they take guest feedback seriously and improve the cleaning standards and maintenance of the property.With a bit more care and attention to detail, this could be a fantastic rental. A month stay at The Anchor

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Problems with the Rental: The bathtubs were slippery and dangerous to seniors. One of them is installed backwards to the faucet and drained poorly. The sink in that same bathroom had poor flow of the faucet and drained slowly. The positives: the rental is ideally located to the beach. But, the walkway that takes one over the dunes has many poorly constructed ‘features’. The Rental was clean when we arrived, but the large windows in the main room were very dirty.
