Awesome House

The house was perfect for our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were not the most comfortable but worked for a week long stay. Would highly recommend a golf cart for the distance to the boardwalk.

Great House

We all had such a great time staying here. The house was clean and in a great location. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and not be bumping into one another. The walk in shower in the master was great, the only thing I would say was a downfall was the bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was absolutely amazing tho! The check-in/check-out process was very easy as well. We would definitely recommend this home and will be staying again.

We loved staying here! We walked to the beach with our kiddos across the boardwalk. The neighborhood is really nice with a pool a couple of houses down. We appreciated the beach wagon and extra boogie boards. Waves Coffee shop in Port A is amazing. I love Seafood and Spaghetti works. Also Tortuga has delicious food.

Nice home in a good community

Rented this property with two other families, and had plenty of room. Everything was in good working condition and as described. Good location with a nice boardwalk that will accommodate golf carts. Overall, a great experience.

Girls weekend

The house was decorated beautifully, very clean, close to beach, & Port Aransas amenities. The downside is there were gnats in the kitchen, the water pressure wasn’t very good, & hard time figuring out the stove & oven. But all in all a great place to stay. Would go again!

Family weekend

This was a great house large enough for our family. Having read other reviews, we did rent a golf cart to make it easier to bring a 2 year old to the beach. Loved the open concept and the backyard to hang out in the late afternoon. We used the neighborhood pool a couple of times and it was just down a couple of houses. We would stay here again.

Very nice place!.

The process for renting the property was seamless. Check in and out were very easy! Very clean property overall. We were a little disappointed that the walk to the boardwalk was a bit longer than it was perceived in the listing. I would recommend a golf cart for aging adults. Thanks for the memories that we made!!

Beautiful home!

Our family loved this home. It was close to the beach, offered plenty of space, & was in a quite neighborhood! You will need to bring some of your own supplies though as they only give you 1 of everything. Here are some things you will need.. trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, & beach towels. The beds were not the comfiest & wish they had atleast 1 king bed in the house. Very clean home though!

Beautiful Home!

The house is very pretty and clean. We would definitely stay here again! Just some notes for those planning to come stay: pack extra paper towels for sure and a few tall kitchen trash bags. There was plenty of dish soap and dishwasher pods were provided as well. There was a new sponge and several dish towels. There was an ironing board but no iron. The queen beds are comfortable but creaked - the guest bedroom downstairs creaked loudly every time you moved, and the master bedroom bed creaked loudly getting out. We had kids ages 5-15 in the bunk beds and they said they were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, you should bring some good knives. There is one steak knife, and a couple of larger knives but that’s it. The stovetop is great, but the oven is so confusing! It’s a convection oven and there are instructions but not clear at all. The management company is fantastic! We had several questions the first day and they sent someone over immediately 2 different times - were there within 5 to 10 minutes! Highly recommend this house!

1st impression upon arrival was noticing the frontyard had not been cut in "a while", nor the backyard.Inside the property was nicely decorated.There was plenty of dishes in kitchen, but no instructions for using the M/W or oven.The pillows & mattresses varied in terms of being too firm or too soft.There was a total of 6 adults & 4 children which the property accommodated fine (bed-wise), but there was only 6 bath towels & no wash cloths avaliable. The cleaning committee delivered another 6 bath towels 24hrs after arrival.The washer/dryer/fridge worked well.The tvs were not easily usuable, as we had to log into our home services(apps), ... there were 2 tv remotes in the master bedroom (never got it to work), ...4 remotes in the den/living area, ...etc!The back yard was overgrown but didn’t have "goat-head" stickers as the front yard had, thus 'ouch' on bare feet.There was an outdoor shower on the side of the house that we didn't know existed until the 3rd day there. All in all?Accommodations were ok.The outside grill was charcoal vs propane, thus a bag of charcoal was provided but no lighter fluid.After using it to grill hotdogs & burgers I had to scrub it, ie, leaving it better than the way I found it, else being charged extra upon checkout.We might be back since we now know all the quirks.It would be nice to know the floor layout as well as the neighborhood layout, ie, where the pools are located, ...where the boardwalk to the beach is located, etc!

A great time at the Island Gem in Royal Sands in Port Aransas

A very nice house but just a few small issues - one of the big frying pan drawers in the kitchen was not connected to the drawer glider on the right side - there should have been an additional paper towel along with tissues and trash bags - the picture on your website leads you to believe the pool is right behind the house, however the pool pictured is in the adjacent community

Great fit for 3 families

The house was very clean and well stocked as advertised. Check in/church out very simple. The back yard is perfect for grilling and playing corn hole (both provided). The oven is weird and we didn't find the instructions until we were cleaning up the last day, but that's on us (look in the pantry). The house is very close to the pool and not a bad walk to the beach. However, I would highly recommend renting a golf cart for trekking all your things down to the beach - makes life a lot easier when kids are involved. Board walk is designed to allow golf carts. Overall it was a great stay. Look forward to going back.

Good location, easy beach access

House was as pictured and in print. House was very clean. The decor was comfy, beachy. Not to cluttered! The kitchen had pretty much everything to cook a meal (blender was broken so no drinks). Small charcoal grill was adequate. The back porch was as pictured, little more worn but it is the beach! Furniture was ok. Bathrooms were nice. Only negative would be the upstairs beds. The queen bed was not comfortable at all and noise when you move! The bunk beds in kids room were also not comfortable. Metal pieces in middle made the beds hard to sleep on. We used blankets to pad them. Rest of house was nice and would book again.

Great Stay

Fun time in Port A at this place. Went off of prior reviews and rented a buggy, brought extra toiletries, etc. Loved having coffee on the back patio in the mornings.

Perfect family beach spot

The house was located in a great, clean, small neighborhood with easy access to the beach and the neighborhood pool. The house was perfect for large family / multiple families for several days. The downstairs was spacious, the kitchen was large and equipped and the kids bunk room was a perfect spot to let the kids hide out and chill! We will definitely book this beach house again!

Some suggestions

We had a great time. I do feel that a few things could’ve been better. 1. The bigger bedroom upstairs still had sand in the bed. 2. Need to provide more than just two trash bags. 3. Either suggests to bring pods for keurig or have some available for guests. We had to go buy our own. Most of everything else was great.
