    Casa Getaway is a newly remodeled, well appointed home in the La Playa neighborhood which shares a boardwalk to the beach. Grill the days catch in the shaded patio area, rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach and nap in a hammock. Venture up to the second level to the front balcony, perfect for taking in the breeze, sipping morning coffee and catching a glimpse of the Gulf. Inside you find coastal chic décor and grand ceilings. Unwind on the plush sofas while watching your favorite movie on the wall mounted TV with cable and Wi-Fi. The full kitchen is stocked with items for preparing meals such as dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Dine at the ornate table with bench seating for six. The master bedroom (BR1) has a Queen bed, chest, nightstands and closet. The convenient hall bath is equipped with a vanity, tub/shower and stackable washer and dryer. Stroll upstairs to an area that the kids will love. The large bedroom (BR2) has ample room for the kids to play games, color, stretch out and watch cartoons on the wall mounted TV. The room is furnished with a Twin over Twin bunk bed and a Twin over Full bunk bed with a Twin pull out trundle. The full hall bath is complete with a shower and vanity.

    Things to Know:
    Must be 25 years old to book one of our units. Strictly enforced, ID verified upon check-in.
    $95 pet fee per pet, limit 2 pets.
    Beach gear credit with 2 night minimum stay. Must be booked 48 hours prior to arrival.
    Please bring coffee and filters.
    Please provide your own charcoal.
    Parking for 3 vehicles, parking is not allowed on the street. Boat and trailer parking is prohibited. A golf cart rental will use a space.
    No garage access.

Great little beach house

The property management was very communicative with us so check-in and check-out were very smooth. It’s a very cute little beach house and was well-stocked with everything you need for a stay. Would stay here again!

Memories of our little girls first trip to the beach.

We really enjoyed this home. It’s was very my clean and convenient to all the town amenities and a very short walk to the beach. We made long lasting memories with our 15 month old as she explored the Gulf for her first time.

Wonderful cozy beach house with a perfect location!

We traveled from West Texas to stay in Port A for 6 days and wouldn’t have picked a better house for my family and I to vaca at! Very clean, wonderful fun beach decor, boardwalk straight to the beach and just mins away from restaurants and shops! My kids didn’t want to leave! Was able to contact the property owners of any concerns we had and they were very responsive. Highly recommend and will be visiting here again!

Very nice place and great location. The management company was responsive but refused to work with me to check in 15 minutes early. I knew the door code wouldn't work before the 4:00 check in but they could have activated it earlier. They chose not to do this and thus put me in a difficult position with a client video call.

Lovely Place for a Lovely Weekend.

Stayed here for a weekend trip to watch the full solar eclipse with two adults and a ten year old boy. The area had plenty of options to keep us well fed and busy with daytime adventures. The house was clean, some supplies were already at the house like the cooking utensils, pots and pans, because we like to cook. Just overall a wonderful stay at this house. the Beach was a short walk as we spent the majority of our time there. We would be happy to return.

My biggest complaint with this property was that the garage had all of items necessary for fun at the beach but it wasn’t listen on the listing and Life in Paradise said they didn’t have them.

Great Location

Our stay was wonderful. The property was well appointed with kitchen utensils, spices, games and linens. Where it lacked some in technology (no TV in master and no smart features on downstairs TV) it more than made up for in location and amenities. We really wouldn't normally care about the lack of technology as we don't have much of that at home, but only really noticed because the foul weather during our stay kept us inside the home for a good portion of our week long stay. But enough about that... The home was nicely furnished and comfortable for our large family. Life in Paradise even gave us a discount on a 6 seater golf cart rental. Thank yall for facilitating our great and memorable vacation.

Last Splash of Summer

This vacation was just what we needed and the house was perfect! From reading in the hammock to watching a movie on the couches as a fam, we loved our time here! So did our dog!! Lots of thoughtful touches including a sand wagon to get our gear to the waves! Loved it.

Great Property and Location

Let me start by saying that overall, we had an amazing stay and loved all the cute, decorative details in the home. The location is super close to the beach, grocery, restaurants etc. We wanted for nothing. The rental is well stocked with all of your necessities. If you're a clean freak and germaphobe you might want to stick to a resort. The only downfall for me was how much was overlooked as far as cleanliness. You would think that a property being professionally cleaned at least once a week, if not every few days, would be well swept, not have any dust on light fixtures or ceiling fans, and have dishes that are free of other peoples food reminants. etc. Also, the microwave was nearly unusable because it was covered in food splatter on the inside and the dishwasher should be replaced soon, or at least given a thorough scrubbing to remove rust stains. My issue with the cleanliness upon arrival may not be an issue for everyone. My expectations to use a ceiling fan without having an allergy attack may be too high. For this reason, I put my personal feelings about the general cleanliness aside and give them 4 stars. Side note: The rental smelled like marijuana when we got there. Obviously this is the fault of the previous renter, and not the property owner. We followed the smell to a drawer in the master bedroom and disposed of the empty, but potent bag labelled "mine". ;)

Lovely place to stay

The home was great and decorated so perfectly for the beach! Kitchen was outfitted well, while the bathrooms were a little more basic (no hairdryer that I could find, and just a 3-in-1 shampoo/body wash/conditioner combo). SO delightfully close to the beach.

Beautiful

My family and I visited this past week and we enjoyed staying here. It felt like home. It is conveniently located to beach and to town. Communication about checkin process was great. Everything is provided. Would highly recommend and would stay here again. Loved the view from upper deck.

Great home and close to the beach

The home is cute and has a great layout for separating the kids and parents. We enjoyed the hammocks and indoor games. We were not able to get the living room tv to work but luckily we could watch movies at bedtime on our laptop. We will certainly refer this home to friends.

Close walk to the beach

Property had all the right amenities but in varying qualities. Some things like beach proximity, parking, and water pressure... A+ Amenities like dishwasher, laundry, and lighting... B (they were there and mostly worked) Other things like cleanliness and general state of repair... C- (might have left the property cleaner than when we arrived, internally and externally)

Fun stay for a quick beach getaway.

Overall was a good experience. Master bedroom described as having a queen bed but in fact had a king (a plus). A little too many knickknacks in the house, also limited useable closet space due to extra blankets and pillows, ect. A nice view of the ocean from the top balcony that should be showed off more in the listing photos. Plenty of parking (4-5 sports). Walk to the beach was relatively short, although with the convenience of the proximity to the beach access road from the house, we usually just drove to the beach with all the stuff. Bottom line, would stay again.
