Relax at the newly updated cozy seating area on the back patio, perfect for savoring your morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail. The newly completed dock includes boat slips available for guest use — you can even arrange a fishing guide pickup right from the dock or park your own boat overnight for added convenience. On the opposite side, you’ll find a dedicated kayak launch with step-down access, making it easy to get out on the water anytime.

Please keep in mind that since you are on an island, there may be a lot of mosquitoes and other pests at certain seasons of the year. Every month, a professional pest control agency treats our properties.

The guest has access to the entire home minus the locked cleaners closet.

• Fishing Dock & Boat Slips – Guests have access to the canal-side fishing dock and private boat slips. Boat slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis for Portside guests and owners. Guests may arrange fishing-guide pickup directly from the dock or dock their own boat overnight.

• Dedicated Kayak Launch – Step-down access from the dock makes it convenient for guests who bring their own kayaks. Kayaks, paddles, life vests, and other water equipment are not provided by the owner.

• Fishing Dock – Enjoy fishing directly from the dock or relax by the canal and take in the waterfront setting.

• Turf & Seating Area – Relax on the garden bench while the little ones enjoy the nearby turf area.

By Car: Renting a car is a convenient option to explore the area at your own pace. Having a car makes it easy to visit the many shopping centers, restaurants, and other points of interest in the area.

Rideshare Services: Services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area, providing a convenient alternative to driving. Simply book a ride through the app, and you'll be on your way to your destination in no time.

- An exterior camera is installed solely to monitor our cleaning team for quality and security purposes.

- Parking for 2 cars max. The community has a parking lot for guest use. Only 1 assigned parking spot is given. Other vehicles will need to be in the overflow available parking spots. The second parking spot would need to be in overflow it's a first serve basis. Street parking is allowed.

- If you're interested in a long-term stay, please reach out to inquire about availability. Winter Texan Rate: November 1-March 1 at $3200 monthly + fees..



GUEST VERIFICATION:

To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.



Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:

- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.

- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.

- Paying a non-refundable $60 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out. This is collected either at the time of payment through the booking platform or afterward, depending on which platform you use to book.



The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

We are open 9am-5pm Monday - Sat and 10am-3pm on Sunday. We also provide 24/7 guest support.
