Relax on the beach or stay closer to the condo in one of the 2 pools available (both heated). Our unit offers a fully equipped kitchen and full sized refrigerator if you want to stay in and relax. If you want to venture out, the complex is close to the U.S.S. Lexington, Corpus Christi Aquarium, and several restaurants for quick/easy outings. Book your stay today!

My husband and I stayed 1 night with our 2 children. Some pros were the beach view, the condo was clean and stocked with everything we needed (pillows, extra blankets, towels, body wash and conditioner and other things for the kitchen that we didn’t use), the temp in the room was good, the pool was heated, and the host answered my questions fairly quickly. Some cons were that the hot tub was cold (maybe not on), the card scanner on the gate to the beach access was not working so we just had to put a big rock in the way of the door, there was no washer and dryer available and that was listed as an amenity and we were planning on using them but it looked like they were behind a locked door, and someone was smoking near our room and the smell was getting in the room whenever we opened the door. Overall, for a quick trip where we mostly just needed to sleep and be close to the beach, it was alright.

Elevator out of order. Found out from maintenance that the elevator has been out for a while and will not be fixed in the next couple of weeks! We had a hard time carrying water/other up to the 2nd floor due to my daughter recovering from surgery, and I have back issues!Laundry room washer stank, other washer had green-black water in the drum. The laundry room had no wall/window which was unsafe when I tried to do laundry. Nothing was covered from old damages. Fire alarms were not available! Flooring was uneven causing trip hazards. Hot tub was a cold tub. The apartment had a leak we thank God noticed and notified the host!This place is not maintained! From all the buildings (Building 3), this building is in a very poor condition!Most upsetting is that the description in VBRO does not state the defect of the elevator, and the seeming ongoing repairs!When taking the bedding off, we noticed mold on the mattress protector and a very used, filthy pillow.We paid 20 in stead of 15 as stated in the description for beach access cards/parking. Both beach gates are defect, gate 3 like building 3 has been broken for a while. We had to call the front desk to let us back in, because I am not walking around a building with a toddler and baby!Other beach guests had to let us and others in on other days when the stones and wooden branches were removed.When you walk down the strip, you will notice that all other Hotels/Condos are in a better maintained condition.
The table had many burns and bumps.
Mold on the matress cover.

My kids and I loved it. Just like the pictures. Clean and comfortable and we loved that we could walk to the beach in minutes then swim at the condo pool. Great communication with the host. I hope to return next year.

Property Very outdated/but good location

Location was great but Description/photos were deceiving by not showing the outdated parts of property. We booked for 5 nights for family vacation we ended up only staying one night. The building is very old and the up keep of property was bare minimal. The condo its self was clean, but old, musky/moldy smelling , had rusted stove which wasn't appealing for us to cook like we planned. The kitchen table had water damage warped / bubbled up. The more we tried to talk ourselves into staying the more uncomfortable we were, this condo definitely didnt give us relaxing vacay vibes. I purchased insurance prior to our trip for peace of mind if anything happened, unfortunately I couldn't even use it. The best the host could do was refund 250. We took the loss for our 5 day booking and booked somewhere else .

Great summer family getaway

The property was exactly as described (read all the reviews for the little details!), and the host was very responsive to my inquiries that I presented to her during my stay. I would recommend this unit to anyone! Thanks for the stay.

Right on the beach

The entire property reflected the devastation that hurricanes and winter storms can produce. I’ve never lived in a place with extreme weather so the evidence was sobering. There is extensive construction being done in the entire area including roads and bridges. The condo itself is small but functional. It has everything you need for a short stay. The bunk beds are narrow but work well for children. There is a larger twin size Murphy bed in the living/ kitchen area that our 15 year old was more comfortable on. The condo is right on the beach with easy access to the bay. It’s not a place I’d stay for long or want to just hang out and relax in but the location is great and it is a good “home base” to explore the area.

Not what we expected

I will be very careful to ONLY rate the condo and it’s owner….although some other things MUST be included. Check in process was fairly quick and easy, and communication with host was a plus. Upon our arrival we thought…..RENOVATION in progress would have been a nice warning. We arrived at the office to check in and pay for our parking where we learned our elevator was broken. Being on the 3rd floor, climbing stairs with luggage, in 90 degree heat with a family of 5 ranging all the way the age 75 years old….NOT what we signed up for. Once inside the condo…it looked just as it did on the photos presented online. The ONLY thing we found to be misleading about the photos is the beach view. The view is obstructed. As far as the stay itself….I would not advise families to rent this condo that prefer to cook meals. There is little to no dishes, and no counter space. You just feel like you can’t add another thing to the limited space. As far as the cleanliness of the condo I would rate it a 3 star. The pull out bed mattress protector needs to be pulled off and washed. It’s also broken and requires additional props which were provided to sleep on. The master bed had hair all over the sheets. My pajamas were covered in someone else’s hair. The shower has a drain from the ceiling that leaks COLD water on you while you’re showering. We did appreciate the extra towels and shower toiletries. However, not a condo we would rent again.

Mini Family Vacation

It was a great location. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was equipped with pots, bowls, and cups. Quick walk to the private beach and pool. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view and Access to Beach

We really enjoyed our stay the view was great and within steps from the beach! We did have one issue but it was handled quickly and the host was very sweet and attentive to every need. There is construction going on so it was a little noisy but was still a great stay! If you want less people while your on the beach this is the place to stay!

Nice stay and fun pool party!

The condo was nicely equipped and very clean. This condo could use some updates but nothing that is a deal killer. They had a fun pool party on Saturday and it was a hit! I would EASILY be back again and stay here.

Disappointing

We booked this unit for 2 nights. Arrived around 5 pm. The elevator was broken. The stairs were flooded with water. The owner sent the code by email when we arrived there but to the code was wrong. We called the owner, she was cooperating and responsive. The unit was clean but we found hairs on the sheets. The construction workers were on the site working at 8:00 am. We woke up with their noise and realized that water was cut. Called the owner, she mentioned that pipes were busted few days back and that they are working on it. Waited until 3 pm but no water in the kitchen. Contacted the owner, she sent someone to check the pipes. They said there is an issue with the sink and that they need to replace it. We decided to leave the unit. Called the owner and asked for refund. The owner refused to refund our payment saying “ you stayed a night”. No refund for registration, cleaning, and service fees and taxes.
