Great Beach House

Fantastic view and stay!

As always, we loved our time in Port Aransas. Lost colony neighborhood is our favorite, and this house is a huge stand out with a fabulous view!

Friends trip

Love the location of Lost Colony. This is the 3rd house we have stayed in there and it is our favorite! View of the beach is outstanding and loved that all of the rooms are on the same floor!

Wonderful stay for our ladies' group

My friends and I (ladies in our 60s) rented this for a girls' getaway. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Right on the beach and a comfortable bedroom and bathroom for each of us. We will definitely be back!

Family Fun ON the Beach

This beautiful home was clean and comfortable with a great layout and location. The view was unsurpassed! Be aware that driving is allowed on the beach, but most cars are driving safely. We enjoyed a wonderful family time together and highly recommend this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location to access the beach. A few miles from town. The house was clean. Port A Escapes were easy to get ahold of when I had questions. One thing is, there are not a lot of items stocked. Bring extra paper towels and blankets and anything you may need to cook. They had salt and pepper and cooking utensils but no condiments, sugar, oil or anything else.

Family Vacation

What an amazing place to stay! We were right on the beach, just steps away from the boardwalk. The beach was quiet and clean. The view was amazing. I loved that the house had everything we needed also. There were enough supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper to last the whole trip and all the pots and pans, plates, and utensil were great quality. There were also beach toys provided and a grill. Highly recommend!

Premium view

We spent two weeks windsurfing at Bird Island Basin and appreciated coming home to a relaxing, beautiful home on the beach. We used the kitchen extensively and found it to be well equipped. The decor is lovely and fun. Having a garage to store all of our gear and an outdoor hose was really handy. The house is perfectly situated between Port A proper and Corpus Christi beach so we had plenty of options for shopping and eating out.

Weekend in Port Aransas

Great weekend and nice accommodations. There were reoccurring ants in the corner of the family room area. Maintenance was quick to respond but the issue kept reoccurring. We enjoyed the beach but we had deal with the oil globs that wash up on the beach getting on skin, shoes, and towels. It was a fun, family weekend and would consider going back to the area.

The deck faces east so the summer sun can be intense. The house is in a small group so not too much noise. An easy drive to shops and grocery stores. We had a great time.

Had a couple small issues with kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster) that didn't work, but the maintenance team brought us new ones super fast. We were very impressed with how responsive and friendly all the staff were. We also found this stretch of the beach to be very quiet for the most part. Never super crowded - which was wonderful.

The house is very open and bright, big beachfront porch, and we were happy to have 3 full bathrooms. It is so close to the beach and has a great view. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were extra blankets, and although there were not closets, each bathroom had a nook for hanging clothes. Our only grievance was that the couch was dirty, the cushions were stained and the top cushions where your head goes had some buildup, but to be fair it is the beach, guests probably sat on the couch with sunscreen on and got it grubby over time. We just used a spare blanket to cover the couch. All in all the house is cute, bright, on the beach with a direct beach view, we had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

Fall break stay at LC19

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location! House itself was ok. Could have definitely been cleaner, counter tops had residue we had to wipe off ourselves, dead bugs in windows and killed a few insects and a roach. Rodent and smaller bug droppings in the kitchen cabinets and inside some of the kitchen pots/ pans and bowls.the dishwasher and stove are well used, neither operated well.

Clean property with a great view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had plenty of space for our family of 5. It was in a great location and the view from the deck was the best part. We didn't cook much but the kitchen seemed fairly well stocked, except that they did not provide coffee. We were unable to access the garage (locked) which had the washer/dryer and grill and beach toys. We really liked the neighborhood which was quiet and the home has very quick access to the beach via the boardwalk. Unfortunately we picked a bad time to visit, due to the amount of spring breakers during the nights we were there. Obviously this not the fault of the owners or management company. But if you have younger children, I would avoid booking in March. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would book here again in the summer time.

Couldn’t be closer to the beach!

Enjoyed our stay! Great picture windows/sliding glass doors to large deck with rocking chairs/plenty of seating with beautiful ocean view. Sunrise in the mornings/afternoon shade on deck. Layout was nice, each bedroom had private, full bathroom. Steps from beach access. Beach was clean/not too crowded. Bring beach towels and chairs. Boogie boards/toys provided. Plan to cook?, run everything in dishwasher first, including silverware trays/utensil holders as they were not cleanest. Or bring disposable plates/utensils. Only one pot and pan were usable. One towel set per bed provided so laundry or bring own as the washer/dryer are outside in garage downstairs. Sheet/towel change every two days would be nice offering. Brought TP/paper towels bc we prefer good stuff. Bring 409, trash bags, and dishwasher soap as there not enough for more than few nights stay. Grocery store towards Port A had great selection of EVERYTHING! Grounds well maintained but lots of stickers. Plenty of overflow parking near house. Kitchen trashcan was small/bins at front of property so required many trips. Sofa throw pillows could use a wash so hope coverlets/shams are washed each time. Sheets seemed older/didn’t fit well. Mosquitos were awful so bring spray. Oddly, vacuum/cleaning items were in guest room’s open closet so space wasn’t usable and not clean so not appealing. One garage door did not lock but property seemed safe. Overall, enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again.
