We had a very positive experience the last time we vacationed at this home so we were expecting the same level of cleanliness and care this year. However, the cleanliness this time was totally unacceptable. Hesitant to use refrigerators due to cleanliness. Filters out of date according to indicator lights on main fridge. Afraid to use ice maker and water dispenser. Broken dining room chair. Many drawers did not appear to have been wiped clean inside. Clothes drier lint filter contained a thick layer of lint as if it were never cleaned. Many dead and alive roaches were visible. Outside hoses were kinked and twisted making them difficult to use. Second floor room on left side smelled moldy. Refrigerator in same room had a pool of brown water in it and freezer had an oder. We really love this home. It would have rated an ‘excellent’ but the cleaning was totally unacceptable. For my wife and I as hosts it was embarrassing.

Property not cleaned well. Floors were dirty. Cargo lift never fixed the whole time we were there. No water pressure downstairs. Saw roaches in kitchen. Otherwise fine, pet friendly stay for multiple families. But think it could’ve been cleaner.

Family Beach Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It allowed separate spaces for all family members and also good living/kitchen spaces to gather as well. The pool was a great asset along with the lift that could move luggage and groceries to the 2nd floor. Kitchen was well-stocked. The furniture was quite comfortable. The picnic table in the breezeway was a good outdoor dining option. The house was located between 2 beach access roads and was a short distance to restaurants and shopping.

Great house!

This house has a cool setup with the living quarters all being separate. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Great place to stay.

What an Easter

1. Bedroom behind the garage could not have been slept in because of the fume smell and roaches crawling everywhere. My children had to come upstairs at midnight only to find two roaches up there as well. This should not have been considered a useful bedroom and bath2. All the outside furniture was very dirty and had not been cleaned in quite a while3. Swimming pool looked green4. Dishwasher did not work5. When notified was told Okie Dokey

Xmas Vacation

The separate living areas were very nice. We had teenagers up to 70 y/o so the different areas were very convenient. Close to beach and a nice walk. Property management addressed our concerns quickly. The living room furniture was soiled and some of the beds were either broken or uncomfortable. The property could definitely use a thorough cleaning.

Port A 2024 Fam

If you are in need of a house with four separate living quarters this is the perfect place. We had 7 individuals and 2 dogs. The 2 dogs needed to be kept separated but the house layout allowed the whole family still socialize in the common living room. The manager was responsive to our needs. 5 of the 7 of us are over 70 years and the elevator proved to be helpful for luggage. We will definitely keep this house on our favorites list.

Great property! Close to everything!

This was a great property that was conveniently located so close to everything in town. There were four main sections that each had their own fridges and living spaces, which was perfect for balancing the needs of different groups in our family. Check-in and out were a breeze and the host had excellent communication. Will definitely rent from this property management group again!

Together yet separate

We absolutely loved this house. It was clean and each room was like its own little apartment with a stove, fridge, bed, and shower. So, you have your own privacy, yet you are all together. The upstairs has the washer/dryer and the main kitchen, so that room does have to share the space with others, or the other upstairs has 2 separate rooms, but they have doors and own bathrooms. Beds were not so comfy, and one was very squeaky which we all overlooked due to how great this place was. Who has time to sleep anyway when you are having so much fun! The pool is long and perfect to hang out and play games. There was a lot of sand in the bottom (we tried to sweep it some, but did not bother us.) In one room there is an ice maker which was fabulous for filling coolers. Parking was great for 4 cars and 2 golf carts. Lastly, the location was perfect. So close to the beach, and town. We looked for a house in the area. It is the perfect spot and will stay there again for sure regardless of the beds. We go regularly to Port A!

Nice place with separate living spaces

This place was nice. It was great having separate spaces for our group. The place was well stocked with lots of kitchen items, there was plenty of dishwasher and laundry soap provided as well. The wifi was terrible though, it appears that there was a DIY extender setup that was not done properly because throughout most of the spaces there was barely any wifi. Needs some general cleaning and maintenance done (cleaning hand grime off the doors, changing out quite a number of light bulbs that were out, changing the filters in the refrigerator, etc.) Overall it was a nice stay.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home! We were so comfortable during our stay. We had a couple of rain days so being comfortable was important! The living/kitchen/dining room was spacious and comfortable. There isn’t direct access to the beach, but we were really close via car and/or golf cart. The kitchen was nicely stocked. We cooked several times during our stay and we had everything we needed (even for a large shrimp boil). We enjoyed our stay!

Awesome spot!

This property was perfect for myself, my husband and several of our friends. The bedrooms were mostly separated into their own units with at least one bathroom and a kitchenette which was a fantastic set up for us. Beach was only a short golf cart ride away and the main kitchen/house had everything we needed to gather as a group for mealtimes and evening times. Highly recommend!

Memorial Weekend

I’ve been going to Port A since the 70s as a kid. What a great place and what a great house. The location is close to beach access and not too far from all the shops. Get the golf cart if you want to explore without loading up in the car and enjoy the air. Every room was self sustainable and very comfortable. The main room and kitchen were spacious enough to accommodate our party of 10 and out door seating added to the fun of meals prepared onsite. Plenty of driveway parking to avoid violating fire lanes painted in the cul-de-sac. Pet friendly with upper deck locking gate so the fur kids can’t wander down the stairs. The pool area is also enclosed.

Great house

The house was great, I was surprised cause we all had separate little houses but functioned good. The pool was awesome to have. The only thing was no beach toys and if they were in the garage there were no instructions or keys to access them. Overall great stay and location.

First time to Port A

This was our first time to Port A. The stay was a great experience, it almost lost a star, because of the Sparta condition of the property. No way to rinse your mouth in the bathroom, one hand towel for 2 people in the bathrooms, there were no games or decks of cards as listed and the weather was damp a lot causing a need to stay in. The pool needed some attention to make it a plus for the property. The elevator was a real plus for older folks and moving provisions to the second floor kitchen. The local grocery, IGA, is well stocked and made up for any missing items. The kitchen is ok, but the dishwasher needs an update. Door leans down and dumps dishes. The 5 families overall liked the property and the comments are meant to make it a spectacular property. An early checking, say at 3pm would have been a nice touch, but understand turning a properly around may require the later time. Highly recommend a golf cart rental. We were unsure of it value initially, but ended up using it a lot. Have a Great Summer, Jim

Relax and refresh

This is an amazing place to stay with friends and family. The layout is pretty cool, it’s like four condos under one roof. It worked so well for our group and gave everyone more privacy. Each room has its own bathroom which made it so nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Family get together

The property was wonderful for everyone having their own space but still having a large area for everyone to gather. We loved the pool. It was perfect for small children with a shallow end that they can stand up in and steps on both end and in the middle. We loved all the areas that the family could gather outside and the large living area inside. We will definitely book the house again.

Perfect place for multiple families

Perfect house for a multiple couples and a couple with kids. 4 different units with a main house for everyone to be together. Beds were comfortable and amenities were good. Kitchen needs to be reorganized but that might just be my OCD! There’s an elevator to bring all your things up and down the stairs. We only used it for our initial arrival and departure and was thankful for it. Location is good and neighborhood was quiet. Will stay at this location again.
