Nice House in Port Aransas

Good location, nice layout, open floor plan. For two, perfect. Probably would have been a bit crowded for 6 or 8 . On second and 3rd level, so must climb steps. Casual, functional, but small living room. Newish mattresses, foam. We found them hot and a bit soft. Did not cook. Note; house is for sale, but we encountered no realtors Overall, great location, walkable (3-4 blocks) to beach and a solid, comfortable beach house with good porches to sit out on to enjoy the wea breeze.. Note- difficult entry due to older auto lock unit. Needs replacement. Had repeat calls to Vacasa to get in.

Interesting start

Property was fine. It was perfect for our stay. I had scheduled 3 clients to join me and it was as advertised. The only issue was that there was NO POWER to the home when I and these clients arrived. After hours of calling back and fourth and finally getting an electrician onsite hours and hours later, we find that the electric bill not being paid was the issue. Embarrassing as the one who set it up for these clients who were made to stand outside for hours until we just gave up to go to dinner as it was eventually resolved by the time we returned. Outside of that the folks managing the stay were responsive and apologetic. House was reliable outside of that.
