It was a perfect house for several small families. Plenty of room for parents and kids!!! Perfect location for water and fun!!! Had everything we needed to cook and enjoy family Christmas!!
The place is very nice except that the dock lights never worked and we messaged them and couldn’t get a response. Also the place needs fumigation cause there’s a lot of roaches outside and mosquitoes some insects inside. Very good location and enough space for my family of 5.

Great location Great home!
We rented this house for family weekend at TAMU. Unfortunately we didn’t spend too much time at the house but when we were there it was great!
The neighborhood was quiet with a convenient store walking distance. It was mentioned there was a little neighborhood bar walking distance as well but was not completely sure lol…fishing off the deck along with being able to and enjoy the breeze from the upper deck was amazing!
Great time would love to go back just to sit and enjoy without having to run around. 😊
was an overall nice place but many lights were burned out or not working. Porch, closet, Kitchen mainly which is dark without the overhead light. No way to change bulbs.Customer service was excellent as they responded via text immediately with a few initial small issues. Never sent someone out to check on kitchen light though..
Easy to get to, fishing from the dock is nice, but if you want better and bigger fish, recommend going to the bridge just down the way. But all in all it was nice to be right down town, close to HEB and a bait and tackle dow the road. Had a fun time. The one thing is dont expect a 5 star interior but still this was one of my better 5 star experiences.
Before you book this property, I highly recommend you read all the reviews! They are surprisingly accurate! I am referring to the amount of roaches in the home. Not necessarily a big deal as we were able to just sweep them up and throw them away but considering nearly every review speaks about roaches, I am super shocked that something hasn’t been done to address this issue. The only other complaint I had was having to play Russian Roulette with the TV remotes. The remotes were not located near the TVs to which they corresponded and only one remote had batteries that worked. I didn’t particularly enjoy having to go purchase batteries so that we could use the televisions. I have stayed at other Vacasa managed properties and have never had an issue. This is surprising for them and I hope they get the issues rectified because the property is beautiful. And the private fishing dock is amazing! Most likely, I would stay here again just for the fishing dock. Beds were comfortable, plenty of dishes, towels, and I appreciated the lamps with charging stations for the phones.

Nice little home that hopefully they make improvements to
The backyard was uncut, the back main door has a loose door handle and we were scared we were going to break it. The door handles need to be tightened down. We killed 3 huge cockroaches, and saw two dead ones when we arrived, property needs to be sprayed for bugs. The tv setup is not hooked up and working in the office area, the master room tv requires a remote control that we were never able to locate. Overall the house smelled like urine. Property has potential to be a great spot for a small family getaway but the property owner should handle the urine smells and the bug problems

Great Amenities but needs pest treatment
All of the positive -
kayak, boat dock, outdoor view, multiple decks and even fishing from your own dock. Decent layout of a previously 2 bed 1 bath into a fairly roomy 4 bed 2 bath with open kitchen/living room area. On site equipment is perfect. The only 3 things that bring this place down; some of which are beyond owner’s control, are 1) bad smell when coming in of rotten eggs; blows in with the breeze but also blows away so it’s a gamble; 2) we found out the first night there’s a fairly good amount of roaches of different sizes that should be addressed regularly to keep the property in a clean condition. 3) Some equipment needs to be replaced such as the front bedroom ceiling fan and some closet doors that have the slates falling out. We still had a good time and if it wasn’t for the cockroaches it would have been a great time !

Beautiful view but stale house with lots of bugs
We enjoyed the water view and fishing on the pier, but the house needs work. There were not enough outlets. BBQ pit was filthy with black and white stuff caked on it and it wouldn’t lite. No remote for master bedroom found. Front room ceiling fan was broken and wobbled a lot. We saw 6 large roaches and many bugs. The first internet password we were provided was wrong. Carpet and throw rugs were stained and dirty, and need a deep cleaning or replacement. Couches could also use a cleaning.
For what we paid for this house, it was not worth the experience we had. Not a house I would rent again in the condition it is in.
